Great review, Thank you for demonstrating the strap length on the body. Especially showing the max length extended. I am returning my sling go mini because the strap is to short for me when fully extended it is still short. So your video is very helpful to be able to see the strap on this on the body showing where the bag hangs. Thank you
You're more than welcome. I'm glad to hear that was appreciated. It's something I'm often asked about so I try to add in that full opened strap part whenever I remember (I have to admit I do sometimes forget 😅). Thanks for watching
Oh definitely. There must be something in the water down there in Ozz as Alpaka on top of their game at the moment for sure. I hope you're well and had a great weekend
Almost perfect. 1. Need compression straps/straps to carry longer item. 2. Reflective sticker. 3. Hidden side compartment for bottle. 4. Secure zipper lock. 5. Strap to hang light or caribiner. 6. Anti sway strap
Hi there Jr K. I like your suggestions here. The compression straps would definitely help. A few of the others are available on some of their other slings, plus there's an additional stabiliser strap which you buy separately. Thanks for watching buddy. I hope you're safe and well
Great review of this bag. Shall be saving for the V2 or V3 depending when I upgrade from the V1 Bravo Sling in 2022. I wish Alpaka were avaliable in the UK as the import tax is a killer. 😢
@@MoorlanderEDC Hi thanks for the help but its a shame there is no Uk dealers would make it a lot cheaper for UK buyers keep up the great reviews. All the best.
Great review mate. I have that exact bag but it is the limited edition dark multi-cam X PAC material. I also ordered the black padded shoulder strap with it. Another one of my smaller slings is the AER City Sling v1 in black 1680 cordura. We have similar tastes . 😀👍
The AER stuff is something I've been eyeing up; as well as Code of Bell. There's some amazing slings out there. I'm still a Cordura fan however XPAC is the future #XpacSnob 😊😊😊
@@MoorlanderEDC yes, lots of people are making bags out of X PAC. It is lighter in weight and very strong too. I still love good old 1000d nylon as used in Maxpedition (classic range) and 5.11 tactical, but you can feel the weight of it. So far I have bags from 5.11, Maxpedition, Vanquest, AER and Alpaka. They are all different sizes (litres) and serve different purposes. I’m a bit of an EDC gadget enthusiast. But value for money is very important to me, that’s why I love your reviews. More landed I need your advice I have a question on my brave sling max I can't figure out just to to use the USB port when I try to put a cable through it it only comes out a fraction of an Inch I don't sed how that is usefull.
It's meant to sit within the outer housing and not protrude from it. It keeps it stowed away and safe that way, then if you need to charge anything you can add a second cable to the dock to charge
The only missed opportunity I saw In that review was Alpaka not moving to the eu standard charging cable usb type c. Rather than the last gen usb type a.
Hello, I'm currently on the look out for a sling bag. I am contemplating between the Alpaka Bravo X Sling V2 and the Alpaka Bravo X Sling V2 Pro. Just wondering your thoughts on which one to get and what are the differences between the two? (Also, bonus question, I believe both can be used as a shoulder bag, right?)
Dear moorlander I need to ask you if you could tell me which alpaca have that have that cool padded shoulder strap because I really want one that has that shoulder paved strap
Hey George. I think if you check their accessories section you can buy the padded shoulder straps separately so you can add it to any sling. I'm pretty sure they're on there buddy
Great review, it's just a real shame there's no UK outlet for Alpaka products.. I'm loathed to pay for an order only to take your chances with customs and end up paying UK VAT on top of sales tax from either Finland or Malaysia them import duty on top. It took me ages to find a UK supplier of AER bags as like Alpaka they rarely pop up on Amazon. Looking forward to finding all of my EDC gear in one place with the opening of Moorland EDC LTD 😜
Moorlander EDC ltd could be the future. This time next year I could be a millionaire 😊 you're spot on though, it's a real shame they don't have a European distributor. I'd like to think it's something they're looking into. Mukama often have some of their products. Mukama has been a great site for getting usually difficult products. Not sure if they have much at the mo, however they're always good to keep an eye on.

Great video. I carry a PacSafe Metrosafe LS250 and the small TomToc EDC sling. I just ordered this Alpaka. Really think that 3rd rear pocket is vital for travel. The USB pass through is handy. It’s not difficult to find a 15% discount code for Alpaka. I looked at similar Bellroy and Aer but they were both more dosh and the Bellroy doesn’t have the 3rd pocket or RFID. What watch are you wearing? Casioak? What wrist size? We have similar build and awesome hairstyle. Subscribed..!
Hi FB. Thanks for the awesome feedback. I'd say so. I use a Canon EOS 250 with the pancake 24 mm lens and it fits in fine. I think you'd have to play around a bit more with a larger lens however I still think it would fit. I did give this away as part of the giveaway so I can't be 100% sure though. I think the Alpaka site shows someone carrying a Sony mirrorless camera in there just fine. I hope this helps buddy
Hmmmmm... personally I'd say yes as you can removed the port from the actual bag port so you could wash the bad as normal and then put all the wired back in afterwards. It should be fine... although make sure to check the washing instructions from Alpaka 😅
Nice! So much to like about this one. Curious to know how you feel about that flat access flap on top of the main compartment compared to the top zipper of something like the green Go Sling Pro you did a review on? Does it feel like the flap material is ever in the way or obscures your view of contents when accessing the bag while it is on the body?
Hi SS. Thank you for the kind words my friend. I'd definitely say it's not a massive hindrance, however it's more like a traditional waist bag/fanny pack with that opening. It's something you have to lift up/hold back however once you've used the pack for a day it becomes second nature when you're getting thing out and you don't even notice it. I hope that helps🤘
Hi Stephen. Soooo... Long story short. Alpaka sent me one and I made the content. Then they said they didn't send me the one I made the content on and that I should change the name of it... But I found the label and they definitely sent me the one I thought I had. It's a very strange tail 😂
Yes, I'd say so. I have 42 to 44 inch chest and have worn this of a large coat and there's still plenty of room. If you check the ALPAKA website they may have the measurements on there
If someone is worried that the zips can be opened in a crowded place, they can do what I do, use a S carabiner and interlock all three front zippers together.
Awesome shout buddy. Those S carabiner are amazing. I use the smaller lockable ones on packs while I'm travelling with work. Hope you're having a top weekend Ogotuwa
Hey Levent O, I hope you're well.
