I saw Shermie descending into madness trying to win with this deck on her stream. She got to masters with it before turning the stream on, but had a very bad loosing streak after. Funny to watch, hehe Sadly, Flash Freeze+Despair combo feels too much like a "slow speed Vengeance". Looks really cool, but too easily disruptable or countered depending on the enemy deck. And still believe 1 copy of They Who Endure has a place on this deck. So many of your units die before mana 7 to the point They Who Endure would be like 10/10 or higher if played on curve. And, even if it dies, Viego will make good use of its big stats to level himself up.
There’s no guarantee that They Who Endure will contribute to viego… there’s a lot of bugs with him at the moment when it comes to things with how much a modified power contributes to his level up, it tends to take the base power for certain units (nasus being one of them, frostbites as well it ignores)… there’s a good chance they who endure won’t work.

@Kimi wa kirei da I think that depends on which order the effects/ephemeral is checked. Effects like landmarks or round end/starts goes from left to right. I’m think that’s what causes the inconsistencies but I could be wrong
@Kimi wa kirei da If no other unit died and the mist didn't strike anything, once it dies at the end of the round it will proc Viego and he will summon a new mist that will stay on the board for the next round. If another unit died before then it won't proc.

Compared to previous expansions, Mogwai really made a lot of creativity with the new cards. Previous expansions were so limited to 1 deck or 2 max. These new champ designs are so good. Love your creativity Mogwai!
@28:44 invasive hydravine got permanently stolen because the board is full then it will go to the side queueing for a slot on the board and it will reset all the buff and debuff even the health so when there's a slot available on mogwai's board the invasive hydravine has no stolen effect on it, the interaction of that is so mind blowing.
There's a difference in _"strike TO kill"_ and _"strike, THEN kill"._ Dragon's Rage, similarly to Despair, is a 2 part card than are independent of each other: _the strike, and the post-strike effect._ Despair, as you seem more familiar with, reads: _"a unit strikes your nexus, THEN kill it"._ However, as we have seen in this video before, the _"striking"_ part is independent of the _"kill"_ part, as units that are frostbitten and therefore, cannot really strike, still die at the end of the effect. Dragon's Rage is the same effect, just switching the _"kill"_ with _"recall"._ Again, the card reads: _"An ally strikes an enemy and the enemy's nexus. If the enemy survives, recall it."_ A frostbitten card will deal 0 damage to both your unit and your nexus, but at the end of it the unit will still survive after being _NOT_ being hit, so the recall effect will still occur. Is similar to how Death's hand works. It says _"Deal 2 to an enemy unit and 1 to the enemy nexus",_ but if you remove the _"unit"_ part as with _"Glimpse Beyond",_ the nexus damage will still go through. Is not that the game has some _"big issues with consistency",_ but rather that players often misinterpret the cards.
43:36 Fun fact: there is a card for that! It's a Shadow Isles card called "Atrocity", apparently it's a really good card. I think it'd fit very well into this deck, you should try it!
I’ve been playing Viego with Ionia using Death Mark and Dawn and Dusk. Dawn and Dusk will level Viego in one turn and present a big threat to the opponent. Hydravine is probably its best use but you can use it on Viego with Death Mark to get two leveled Viegos on the board. You insta-lose to aggro and pretty much any fast deck but it’s a lot of fun.
With that dragon’s rage thing… the card wording is “a unit strikes the target and the enemy nexus, if it survives recall the target” or something like that… so if you frostbite the unit then the target will always survive the strike (as it never happens) causing the recall. It’s a dumb and odd interaction, just remember that dragon’s rage is what a levelled lee sin uses, so functions and interacts the same way.
After having playing multiple region combinations with Viego I feel like the Ionia is a bit stronger, the Death Mark and Twin Discipline put a massive work

If you buff a unit's health for a turn, when the buff goes away, the unit keeps the health gained up to its normal maximum. I don't know why it works like this, but in LoR it has always been the case.
Am I the only one that noticed a bug with Viego, sometimes my Viegos have an extra 1 health (like being 7/7 and not 7/6). You seriously picked Little Viego again for this deck. Why do you do this to yourself, Mogwai? Also, have you considered running maybe a one-off of They Who Endure in this deck? Oh, and at 57:24, you said you didn't have anything to sac that stolen unit, but why didn't you just replace it instead of the Mist?
I say, he's too broken. Its the fact that he could keep growing forever for each mist spawned is ridiculous. And the mist spawned are also growing. And to top it off, his lvl up requirement is one of the most mundane thing in a card game, which is units dying. And he makes u think before blocking damage to your nexus. Too strong for a 5 cost IMO. He did too much thing and its not healthy for the meta.
Viego needs the Mask Mother, is way to good to pass.. can do the combo with Darkwater to destroy aggro, but more than that you can use on the viego Mist to grant the stats to a feasome unit.. and help level up him too.. you cant run a viego deck without mask

If you buff a unit's health, even if it's a temporary buff, up to it's max health, the health carries over even after the buff expires.
If you buff a unit's health for a turn, when the buff goes away, the unit keeps the health gained up to its normal maximum. I don't know why it works like this, but in LoR it has always been the case.

Discipline of fortitude is a permanent buff now? 18:52
man i love mogwai!
Man, that magic sword sound of little viego is so distracting!
incredible
You seriously picked Little Viego again for this deck. Why do you do this to yourself, Mogwai?
Also, have you considered running maybe a one-off of They Who Endure in this deck?
Oh, and at 57:24, you said you didn't have anything to sac that stolen unit, but why didn't you just replace it instead of the Mist?
@MegaMOgwai would yetis make sense with viego?
How do you feel about Viego, is it as broken as people say or is he fine?
How do i not think of this combo? I'm gonna put some darkwater & mask mother in my viego deck to avoid getting trampled by lurk. Thanks, man!
What about a kindred viego deck any viability there donyou think?
