    Jens is a genius and the US Army Band played their hearts out. Truly awesome. Now time to listen again.

    Fort Myer, Va. is where The U.S. Army band (Pershing's Own) is stationed at. I was stationed with The 3rd U.S. Infantry (The Old Guard) also at Fort Myer, VA. I took a few drum lessons from Sam Evans, one of the drummers with this Army band in 1980. DAVID L. SAELENS (posted 21 September 2018)

    What kind of trumpet was the blue one and the one he played after that? It sounds quite nice and smooth.

      Based on look and sound: The first was a Bb with a bent dime mouthpiece and the one after a cornet with a Shepherd's crook.
