I appreciated that Tara got the biggest reaction. Many people hated her but I was always a fan of hers.
I've never understood the Tara hate. I think personally it's closeted bigot's who don't want to admit they aren't fans of strong gay women. (I am straight guy , making this comment) Sure it could be they just don't like her character, but even that I don't get.
Gui Porto I liked Tara but the writers never gave her much to do. She finally got a chance to step up this season, and unfortunately, it was cut short. I’ve always enjoyed her character and wanted her to do more so I’m very upset she’s gone.

Trending InterActive Studios not true. I’ve been a fan of Magna and Yumiko this season, and they’re gay women. I hate Tara because the actress can’t act! The character was boring and took screen time from other characters who could’ve been developed. No way she should’ve outlived Abraham, Glenn, Carl, or even Andrea.

All of the victims represented something specific. I think Alpha chose them carefully.
The highway men represented Protectors/soldiers. The redhead Frankie represented beauty and softness. Tammy represented the caretakers, the teens represented the future, Enid being a doctor represented academics, Tara represented the leaders and Henry was straight up revenge for turning Lydia against the whisperers.
I never thought of it like that..I knew there had to be a reason behind each victim they chose. This really sounds like the reasoning.
Except the highway men just happened to show up.

Academics? Thats important, but not extremely crucial compared to..well.....being treated so you dont die. Hence the whole doctor thing.

Henry was being hated at the beginning but i was willing to give him the benefit of the "character development" because carl was also a horrible character at the beginning, specially after carl died! And i was the only one giving henry that benefit, everyone else wanted him to die, and i was the only one willing to give the character a chance. And when the character began to get innteresting and becoming basically the new carl... THEY FUCKING KILL HIM! That's it, after all that development and after i was about to be right that the character was gonna improve... they kill him?SDHDSUHFHSFNSDAUFBFWIIY4WG83R AAAAAAAHHHHH!

I lost it with the look Henry had on his face while they were attempting to fight back. When he saw Alpha walk in, he knew he was dead.

Everyone was 100% sure that Henry was going to get Carl’s storyline. For the first time in a long time it truly feels like no one is safe on the show anymore.
Except Daryl, yeah.
I feel like if Rick was still here they would’ve put Daryl up there for sure
BIGxBOSSxx1 I mean, he did fulfill Carl and Lydia’s arc at least. Henry’s death is probably the shows way of pivoting Ezekiel into a larger role. We’re still missing a main lead. The show has ways been an ensemble but it always fell back onto Ricks POV we need another character like that.

Well first time since when? Carl died prematurely and we all thought he will last the longest of season 1 characters.
Alpha: We got an army.

Considering that Daryl walked away from Dary vs Beta with nothing more that a bloody nose and Beta got his teeth busted out, negan literally made Daryl look like Eugene, Negan will rip Beta in half

I don't know... outside of Daryl and Henry (and Lydia), I'm not sure anyone got a good look at her face. Unless, they checked her out with a pair of binoculars she was a good distance from the wall. Also, she wore that woman's hair over her bald head... no one would've paid her any mind and she would've been unrecognizable.

The final ten minutes of this episode was operatic. The writing, the directing, the acting, the editing and the music scoring could not have brought that scene together like it did. It's two days later and this ending still burns in my brain.

I'm still so depressed over that episode. It was so tragically and beautifully done. It was so well done that I even felt so sad and terrible for Henry. A character that I've despised since forever. I tear up every time I see Ozzy, DJ and Alek charge in to help

This was easily one of the most heartbreaking and emotional episodes of the series...and on top of that, it was VERY well done...Top 3 episode of the series imo, and love what Kang did with this show!!!

For me it’s when people think it’s Rosita and then realize it’s Tara after the reveal. They need to use their brains though. When I first watched it with my dad he said it was Rosita but how could it be. I get the comics but Alpha would never get the chance. She’s surrounded by men constantly 😂😂

Nope. Before Daryl, Yumiko, Michonne and Carol were ambushed in the forest at night they found the other two young dudes from Hilltop turned into walkers with their clothes on, so that theory doesn't make sense. Want/Need to know how Alpha did it without being noticed too tho.

Alpha picked her victims b/c of Henry. She observed who he had interactions with. Tara, Enid, Siddiq and Tammy were wild cards b/c they didn’t have any dialogue w/ Henry this episode or they did but it was off screen . Frankie, Rodney and Addie did. Tammy was picked b/c of the fact that they saved the baby from them and she and Earl were treating it better

The Walking Dead has been on a roll lately. It was very obvious they were setting up an obvious death for Rosita and Ezekiel.....or so people thought. Story wise the characters they chose made perfect sense and the deaths really work to drive the story forward.
I just watched Hardhome so hearing “Gather the elders, let’s talk” freaked me out lol

This episode was so good. SOOO many feels. Happy feels, sad feels, pity feels, ALL the feels. The reveals of the deaths were so good.. I like how they revealed the characters in order of importance(imo) in the story right now. It kept building and building. And much like the Normies here, the real BIG shock for me was Tara. I didn't see that coming at all.
