Great shots and great place to camp out for a few nights. Really noticing now the nights are getting shorter.... horrid for astrophotographers. Do you actually get to see the Aurora that far south? Not sure myself. Love the images, the 360 thing is mind blowing. How do you stack/make panos - as I don’t understand how it works as the stars are moving all the time.... your videos are getting better all the time, see you relaxing more into it and being yourself. Need to get “Scotland’s Mountains coupled with Scotland’s Nightsky” keep going, loving watching this channel grow......

Cracking video fella, I live an hour away from Clatteringshaws and don't get there anywhere near as much as I would like, due to work and clouds at weekends (how do they know when I'm off?). One of these days try the Outer Hebrides, there are areas that are bortle class 1. I have a timelapse on my profile taken at Luskentyre beach a few years ago at the erse end of MW season, the darkness was mindblowing.
Would definitely love to visit the islands for the dark skies! Hard to get the clear skies out there tho 😊
@@scotlandsnightsky tell me about it. I chose the two weeks we were on holiday out there around New moon and we got one clear night. Mind you it can be pretty hard to get clear skies down here as well.
Amazing night at a great place for Astro. However I would have to say the darkest skies I have ever seen in Scotland was on Scarista Beach on Harris. It is Bortle 1. I have never seen so many stars for years. I could not see my hand waving a few inches from my face. You should try a trip there you would love it and great scenery for the shots too!
Yeah would 100% love to try the islands one day! Planning to make a trip up to the far north very soon :)
