But before all of that, I have to mention the fact that I would normally bring my SEAWIND sailboat with me on every vacation trip we go to but not this time because of the many involved flights and other people we are touring with. But of course it was never mentioned that I could not buy one locally and bring it back home to Canada. Enter Macoy of @Macoyschannel who I contacted to make me a Mini Banka themed in a Philippines flag colors. Unfortunately, due to my excitement in opening its packaging, I managed to break it is tail.
Also lesson learned, I also managed to damaged my radio packed in the luggage and in doing so I was not successful in running the boat with its maker as I haved planned. It would lose connectivity with the boat after a 35 foot distance which I later traced to be a cracked solder on the PC board on the antenna side. Nonetheless, I did meet with the great Macoy and had a short run with his mini banka. Macoy is friendly, meticulous with his work, and very easy to deal with.
