I just listened to his advice about ancients treasure and he is also missing a lot about how to do it successfully and how to get good reward, its really pretty good in my experience and not that hard to coordinate the clan to do. I should qualify this criticism with the fact that he's at much higher might and hes a much bigger spender than I so maybe its different once hes that much further into the game and there could be diminished returns for him. But for smaller players he seems to be quite wrong
You Do Get The VP Bonus Using Doria in Arachne but only a smaller amount of the bonus because of the loss she is effective still just not at her full potential with a Defeat. @@live688

In search for authority you must have mercenaries in first place to revive. - Rise Of The Ancients is the second best epic event and Doomsday is the third best. Every time you kill the robot it gains a level and it eventually gets to where getting rewards or killing it becomes nearly impossible.
