In retrospect, 20 years after what he said in the interview, almost all of them have become reality. And He is very relaxed and speaks a lot. It's a very valuable video
He speaks so comfortably because he’s said all this before. I’ve seen many interviews with Steve, and this is like a distillation of all of them, all his decades of wisdom. And I think he feels comfortable reiterating all of this, sometimes verbatim, not just to distill the knowledge in a single interview but also because it’s a Japanese interview. So the core audience may not be familiar with the interviews he’s given in the past. It’s not repetitive to them, this is new, key insight from one of the greatest visionaries in history. And famously Steve has had tremendous respect for Japanese companies and the quality of their products. He probably believed there’s at least as much potential, if not more, to inspire a great visionary in this country as in America.
Wow! Steve jobs is definitely one of those who sees life from a different angle. Think Differernt - his famous line truly embodies his vision I suppose.
I still believe, over 20+ years since this, that China effectively stole this production marketing strategy from Japan. A Japanese product, regardless of price, means a high standard of quality. A Chinese product of the same quality marking could mean absolutely anything.
No, he was talking about how to induce your creativity with something so personal as your phone. Editing , creating music , journaling. iG , tik tok etc has used the features to make it less creative and lazier
Apple has been part of my life since 1985 in working with Apple computers. My intrest for the Apple computer started at that time in a local Library where me and my old-best girl friend visit on our private school LUZAC to read and make homework etc. The Apple Macintosch was in that time used for inventarisation of the present books.. Kind regards.
To me, Steve Jobs is a real genius. When he speaks, unlike Elon Musk, he inspires you. He makes you want to do better, or do your best. He reveals to you your own potentials. Elon Musk is not like that.
“How do you see your self in 10 years from now?” “I dont know. I dont really think about it” Well ten years later, in 2011, we all know what happened with Steve :)
Steve thought as an inventor perspective. Invent great product and people will buy it. Of course with the right marketing strategy, Apple can sell at overpriced value.
Feel the difference between the lady and Steve jobs. The difference of mind-set, thought process, vision, energy... You can't vibrate on such a low level when sitting in front of a great pioneer mind of the century. Unprofessional!
@@amol5463777 . Your profile tells me you’re a coward and sore insecure loser to judge a woman like that. For the record I went to an Ivy League and live In New York. :)

You can see Steve Jobs loved Japan and it’s culture.
What's impressing is the interviewer. She truly listens and go through what Steve is saying!

Yes, it is. Very valuable. NHK is very strict about copyright. I'm afraid of their claim.

To me, this might be the most definitive interview about him and his role to Apple.
It’s a distillation of all his wisdom in a fairly short and concise interview.
Great Interview. We miss you Steve!!!!!
Thank you for uploading this VIDEO. A treasure indeed
"intersection of technology and humanity " & "another side of coin"
His philosophy is what made apple what it is today
We miss you, Steve
Great interview, like Steve said, today there are millions of millions creators all over the world.
I miss you Steve😞
This should be required viewing for every kid, and possibly grown ass people.
I learnt so many things from this video 😊
"The age of PC is behind us" said the interviewer in 2001.
10 years to early around early 2010s PC and Mac started to decline.

He's so animated, seems to be enjoying himself!
What do you mean by, "he's so animated?"

You’re all a disappointment. No one gives a damn how cute they are, we care about how they conduct themselves and the insight of their words.

Isn't that great? Having a vision and people working side by side to make it into a reality?
