We all have heroes, whether they be real life figures or fictional characters. After all, it's nice to be able to live vicariously through someone else for a while. And this is the very basis of wrestling if you think about it, getting fans to cheer for a babyface and put themselves in their shoes. But who are the greatest of them all? We’ll that’s exactly what we’re going to be looking at today. So, join us as we take a deep dive into: in My Hero: Wrestling’s Biggest Babyfaces.

Please do further Hall of Famers like the Miz Chris Jericho Daniel Bryan HHH Kane Randy Orton Big Show and The New Day. Also do superstars that were great at playing the face and heel like Chris Jericho Daniel Bryan HHH Kane undertaker Eddie Guerrero Kurt Angle Edge HBK and The Big Show
Nice video
👎👎
You guys should do a video on ‘Last day champions’ wrestlers who held gold in their last day or last televised match. Tons of good examples
We need part 2!
Ricky Steamboat is one of the rare wrestlers that were career babyfaces, never turned heel.
People like Jeff Hardy and Rey Mysterio never turned heel in only WWE.
But His Real Name Sounds Like A Heel... Richard Blood lol
Jeff, Mysterio,Batista , Cena , are the greatest 2000kids baby-face heroes and wanted them to take down the evil guy like Orton ,edge
@@khesipresents1885 Wasn't Batista heel sometime? I was a kid so I might be misremembering.
@@JawadBhuiyan he was a heel before being pushed as main eventer....he spent most his main event days as babyface.....then turn heel in 2009 and left wwe in 2010
"Are you a bad guy or a good guy?"
"Well, on camera brother I'm a great guy but when the camera goes off brother... it's a diferent story brother"
"Brother, Brother, Brother, Brother. "
HBK was pure comedy gold during that fued.
Isn’t that most pro wrestlers lol Austin hit women, most are addicted either drugs or alcohol or both some have committed murder sold weapons I could go on…
Crazy that Steve austin wasn't really a pure babyface but still managed to be arguebly the greatest babyface of all time.
That's a safer route to take these days to get over ..social media caused goody two shoes guys to not last with their popularity with adults
Yeah, I’m not sure I’d really call him a traditional babyface at all. He kinda existed in a vacuum of babyface who cut heel promos and used heel tactics to win matches. I’d argue his inclusion on this list requires an asterisk. Eddie Guerrero, too 😂
Hulkamania was the greatest baby fsce of all time. He was 100% pure good guy and all the say your prayers and take your vitamins was nauseating.
@@brandocalrissian3294 wish I was around to experience hulkamania in the 80s....first larger than life wrestler
@@brandocalrissian3294not only that, I’m old enough to remember Hogan being a face but sometimes heel tactics would surface in matches! Eye rakes, back scrapes, pulling Psycho Sid out and cost him potentially winning the title etc 😭
You missed Sting and that's a crime shame on you Andy
Exactly. He was just the biggest Babyface in the company that was the biggest competition to the WWF
@@siknessgaming7305 I couldn't agree more. Sting was the best babyface in WCW history.
You dropped the ball Andy. Sting was a huge baby face.
We're waiting for part 2!
Bruh shut up. Sting was just signed to WCW. He's bigger than that. @@siknessgaming7305
At his 1997 Heelrun Bret only was a Heel in the USA. He was not just a Face in Canada, he was a Face all ovver the World.
You should do a video with ‘Last day champions’ wrestlers who held gold on their last day or last televised match. You would rock that video
80s: Hogan
90s: Steve austin
2000s: Batista
2010s: Cena
2020s: Cody Rhodes
Batista was more popular untill Cena went to raw in 2005...you could argue Cena was #1 babyface in 2000j&early 2010s ..Batista was #2
@@khesipresents1885wat about Chris benoit
Ten years is too much, Steve Austin was late in the 90s ie
Cena was head and shoulders bigger than Batista post 05. He takes both the 00s and 10s
Sting was a tremendously over babyface for his entire lengthy career. Why would he be blatantly omitted from this list when the likes of Eddie Guerrero and Rey Mysterio, who were nowhere near as big as the stinger, just so happened to make the list?
Not when he was in TNA, he was a heel when he was with the Main Event Mafia
The lack of Jeff hardy on this seems weird and purposeful
Where's Sting?
Seriously! Surfer Sting was arguably the biggest baby face of the early 90's. Then crow Sting was the biggest draw in all of wrestling for 2 years.
@@brandocalrissian3294crow sting lasted until Austin took over in WWF. Come 98 Austin was becoming the biggest baby face.
@@Wolf813921 he said early 90s.
Rey Mysterio might be the greatest babyface ever, because ever since he debut in 2002 he has never been a heel or teased of being one. Everyone loves Rey Mysterio because of his super hero personality
Holy hell. I'm thinking about it and your right. Even his best title runs were pure Babyface underdog attitude
He could've turned heel against Dominick but he stayed face and let Dom turn heel.
yet everyone betrays Rey 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I wonder how much his masks sold...people forget Rey was a massive draw
Facts it’s easy to love Rey
I'm in my late 30s, so I didn't get to see the run of Dusty that you talked about. But, I've watched so much of that stuff that I quote him often enough. The amount of times that I've told restaurant/bar coworkers "you don't know hard times, daddy!" when they've complained to me about, literally, any problems, is immeasurable.
Hold on! Here in Memphis, the Rock n' Roll Express were heels at one point. I remember that time when they were against Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Damn, no Rock? Lol. He was literally one of the biggest babyface draws ever and had the biggest pops right behind Austin while having the crowd in the palm of his hands weekly - how is that not included?
Again, I feel like this channel is a bit underwhelming when it’s comes to The Rock and how much he’s meant to the business being such a massive star that rivalled Hogan and Austin.
Yes it's true but people loved heel Rock more than babyface Rock
1999-2002 Rock was an easy 1B to Austin’s 1A
@@aravinthb1145yes, but he became global off The People’s Champ gimmick.
@@makwabear4078hell The People’s Champ is both heel and face at the same time depending on who The Rock was dropping bars on 😂

Like the bulls theme song in the background for steamboat 🔥
Love that you brought back the introduction card!
You should do the best tweeners, also a video on the best ACTIVE stars over 30
Ricky Steamboat isn't the only wrestler to never turn heel. Rey Mysterio, Dusty Rhodes....
Sting is another great babyface
Your transitions from one wrestler to another are always so smooth in your delivery my friend. Pleasure to watch your content ☺️❤️🌎🙏
Thank you for the video Andy!
Rock n' Roll Express wrestled in a 6 Man Tag match just last night at Joey Janela's Spring Break against opponents 40-50 years their younger and still drew massive pops from the crowd.
1980s: Hulk Hogan
1990s: Steve Austin
2000s: John Cena
2010s: Roman Reigns
2020s Cody Rhodes
I know WWE (Vince mostly) wanted Roman to be THE babyface in the 2010’s, but he was vehemently rejected by the wwe fandom almost unanimously. Cena was still very much the babyface for most of the 2010’s, along with Daniel Bryan, Kofi Kingston, Seth, AJ and a couple others too.
Very good Show 👌🏼
And people say Vince don't push small guys.
That's just a small example of top faces in wrestling. Here are a few others:
1. Bob Backlund
2. Pedro Morales
3. Tito Santana
4. Junkyard Dog
5. Sting
6. Ultimate Warrior
7. Diamond Dallas Page
8. Goldberg
9. Becky Lynch
10. Cody Rhodes
Rarely mentions Bob Backlund he was the face of the company for 5 years
Jonathon Taylor here. I grew up on Hulk Hogan I was a fan of him for a long time when he went to WCW I didn't like him that much until he turned heel and was a founding father of the nWo with Scott Hall (R I P) and Kevin Nash. I'm also a huge fan of the man Stone Cold Steve Austin he's really awesome I've seen him twice and he knows how to raise hell really good and give middle fingers and get away with it and drink a lot of beer and my favorite sayings of his was D.T.A. (Don't Trust Anybody) OH HELL YEAH and my All time favorite WHAT ?
TNA managed to do convincing Babyface-turned-Heels with Jeff Hardy and Sting.
Ricky The Dragon Steamboat never turned heel the real true babyface
this is awesome keep it up man
For almost 40 years, Sting was a babyface. Even when they tried to make him a heel, it didn’t work.
hulk hogan rock john cena daniel bryan sami zayn and cody rhodes were the best babyfaces,
hhh, vince, orton, edge, were the best heels
brock is best tweener
Waller could join top heels but creative sees a jobber
@@khesipresents1885theory and waller has bright future its just they will take time to do it but eventually they both have a lot of credibilities
I loved Eddie.
When they commercialized his death I had to stop watching.
Rey: "I did it for Eddie!"
Randy: "Eddie's in HELL!"
Hulk Hogans heel turn was one of the biggest things to happen on the late 90's wrestling scene and NWO was pretty damn close to Austin in that era
Hey Andy do a roddy piper documentary
Can you do a video on sandman and Greatest heels
The Rock shouldve been included
Shame you didn't visit the UK we had the ultimate baby face back in the 70s and 80s a man called Big Daddy.
the best there is, was, and ever will be

No Ultimate Warrior?
No sting?
Still waiting for the Montreal screw job story.
"Macho Man" Randy Savage in The World Wrestling Federation,1987-89 or 1991-1994, 2 Face Runs.
Eddie, the reason why wrestling become awesome for our generation ❤
No Sting is a travesty. Also missing: Ultimate Warrior & the Rock.
Where the hell is Sting?
Sting???!!!! 🦂
QUESTION: Did Hulk’s heel turn in 96’ have a bigger impact on wrestling than his babyface run in the 80’s and early 90’s❓
Daniel Bryan is my favorite wrestler for how unbelievable his run became🙌🏿
As far as Hogan goes, yes, he was the most popular wrestler in the 80s, but IMO he should have never turned back face after his famous 1996 heel turn. There is just no more place for babyface Hogan in the post-kayfabe era, as nobody in their right mind can suspend their disbelief to such a degree.
Undertaker should certainly be on the list. Though he had heel runs and was certainly able to play a terrifying villain, he was far to beloved by fans, to remain a heel for too long.
Ultimate Warrior should also have been on the list. While he was not a great technical wrestler and most of his promos were random gibberish, he was still extremely over as cartoon era super hero babyface.
🔥🔥🔥video 🔥🔥🔥
Can't believe cenas not in the thumbnail
Surprised Taker was not here
Can you make AEW videos most of your videos are from WWE
I actually got Reys autograph and he's actually 5 ft even. Phenomenal human being.
The son of a plummer , hard times......
Even when Brett Hart turned heel in WWF..I felt he was the good guy..Stone cold was always bad for me..until he started beating up Vince..I liked it because Vince screwed Brett..guess WWF played me.
Loved it..still do
I know this list is about guys but AJW Manami Toyota never turned heel another real true babyface like Ricky The Dragon Steamboat
It's dumb that people keep saying Cena was never a heel. It's like they forgot he was a heel when he entered as the doctor of thuganomics. Did you forget him having a henchman? Doing things heel like? Then turned into an antihero when he won the US chip? Then became Austin-like when he was fighting JBL? Then only shifted into a full babyface when the PG era began. So you guys saying he was never a heel is so wrong
He said he didn't turn heel
John started off as heel, he never actually turned into a heel
This should only be characters who never turned heel or were heels.
Ricky Steamboat
Ultimate Warrior
I'm not Canadian. Yet I'm a fan of Bret Hart and was back then.
While Ricky Steamboat never turned heel, there was a time during his run in the WWF where he wanted to turn heel. He talked to Pay Patterson about it, and Patterson told Steamboat it would never work. He didn't think Steamboat would be believable as a heel. Andy, how can you make a video about great babyface wrestlers and not include Sting!
Dude how the hell could forget Sting or The Rock on this list? Smdh
The rock was always better as a heel
@@oddjobplayzps4314 maybe but he was an anti-hero
@@tunji_9321 attitude era rock wasn't an anti-hero

Don't forget Tito Santana. Like Ricky Steamboat, he never turned heel, as well.
You left Sting out of the list. Shame on you. You owe both Sting and his little Stingers a huge apology.
Hogan was the biggest baby face inside the ring. But the biggest heel outside of it.
How serious can this list be without THE ROCK unless I’m mistaken. I don’t think the Rock was mentioned
Ricky Steamboat Is The Greatest Babyface Wrestler Of All Time🐐Who Never Turned Heel In His Career
How did the rock and sting not get a mention???
New Andy 👍
WHERE IS STING?!?!?!
Being a Georgia child of the 80s, Dusty Rhodes was bigger than Hulk Hogan to me.
No Sting?
HOGAN IS NOT JUS THE GREATEST FACE, HE'S 1 OF GREATEST HEELS OF ALL TIME
Why is Sting not on this list?!
Where is the people's champion the Rock
Bret hart is my all time favourite.
2 of my brothers were massive hulkamaniacs. My other brother and i never understood why since we were huge macho man fans. It followed into the 90's with them being bret hart fans and us loving HBK. I'd say we had the better taste.
Beyond all the killing where Chris benoit
Tito Santana was another that never turned heel.
How you gonna put Eddie Guerrero in this list and not STING🤔🤷♂️😞😞😞
