Ethiopia was not colonized by italy there was just an occupation which lasted 5 years and people were fighting throughout. Ethiopia is also one of the oldest nations to accept Christianity (even before italy) and is the origin of coffee. Also I am really glad you guys liked our food. I really enjoyed watching you guys enjoy Ethiopian food. I just wanted to say Ethiopia was never colonized as the attempt by the Italians never succeeded. Ethiopians maintained their language, culture and freedom. Coffee is also part of our culture, as it was first discovered in Ethiopia. You guys are a joy to watch ❤️

Young girl, please read your history books. Ethiopia has never been colonized and Italian were tried twice with 40 years gap and they were defeated by Ethiopian warriors twice. This Ethiopian Victory over the white colonizers created the initiative for other African countries to became independence. Other point you need to point out is Ethiopia is a founding place of Coffee.

I’m glad you enjoyed our food!! One comment I have to extend it would be much easier if you guys sat in a circle table, you won’t have to extend your arms across. And I don’t know why they didn’t give you rolled enjera to use to dig in, the bottom enjera should last till the end, should be the last thing you eat. We don’t leak our fingers, especially when we share plates like this. Our elderly people use to slap our hands, if we leak our fingers 😂

Good to see you enjoying my home land food, the beard is actually called Enjera. It’s made of teff(a very fine grain only grows in Ethiopia and Eritrea) it is sour because it’s fermented which is gluten free and very healthy. And Ethiopia is the only country in Africa has never been colonised. The Italians tried but never got us. They got defeated by the Ethiopians in the battle of adwa. And Ethiopia is the origin of coffee, that’s why we drink a lot of coffee not because of Italians… the Italians import coffee from us.
