yeah, I like the way they put in the slip arc as I'm not super prepare for a four consecutive arc as I needed a little break from how the story has progressed way to intense and nerve-whreking for me. I would like have the old gintama wif the comedy before watching last arc
The slip arc is filled with other arcs they skipped, honestly I find it kind of annoying, then again watching three serious arcs in a row can be tiring but like the first half of the silver soul arc has abit more gags and even Rakuyou had a decent amount of comedy

same here binged all the way to farewell shinsengumi arc and taking a break for the last 60 or so episodes. Honestly all the serious arcs are amazing and i couldnt rank them all of them made me so emotional that i had to cry 90% of the time.
Shogun Assassination will probably be my favorite in Gintama. Characters, music, plot, unexpected alliances, stakes, losses, dialogues, fights, twists, reflections. It's all there in this arc! I really didn’t expect anything from this anime, but it captivated me from the first episodes, but this arc exceeded all my expectations and fears settled in my heart forever. One of the best anime and stories I've seen... At the end I couldn’t even hold back and and cried a little. If you haven't watched Gintama yet, I highly recommend doing so, you definitely won't regret it.

Now I can’t wait for the final moviee! Sorry but no one can ever top gintama. It’s the best anime I’ve watched. The hard you laugh to its comedy eps/arc, the hard you cry in its serious arcs. And my approach to life became different when I watched their simple slice of life eps (like Kagura’s independence day, radio exercise and cellphone ep). This is the only anime I’ve felt that way. Damn masterpiece!! Hats off to Sorachi, the animators and staff! Thank you so much for creating Gintama.
I think one of the things i like the most from gintama is that, despite being in a world with aliens and even yokai/gods, The main characters do not have any superpowers.they don't have super magical attacks or anything, is all fighting skill and brute strenght. Sure, the fights are still unrealistic in the sense of how fast they move, how they don't get tired or how much blood they lose without dying. But overall, the fighting moves are rather realistic, specially when they use anything they have in their surroundings as weapons or combine a kick with the sword, etc. The characters actually fight, is not two characters in separate corners throwing a magical attack and so. And that doesn't make the fights less spectacular, on the contrary, they look truly amazing.
You're such a biased Gin-san...but i still agree with that and yes the freaking holy war is coming(silver souls arc) and cuz of that i need to calm down even tho i read it i'm still excited like a kid.
This series gave birth to one of the most dangerous yet least talked about villains in anime. Utsuro. Armed with immortality, a sword And 800 years worth of fighting experience. He was the one bad guy the entire cast of Gintama couldn't defeat but instead he self destructed. And when he appeared on the screen for the first time and took everyone out. It was a nightmare
Yeah, that actually felt the most unbelievable plot twist. That delicate-looking🥺, always smiling and good at heart sensei who encouraged and taught his students well in the past was the main villain....I was extremely shocked and truly wished he wasn't their enemy....😭😭 My heart 💔

I've been watching your AMVs forever, and I just now figured out why yours are a step above all the rest. You have a director's eye. You have such a talent at spotting clips that not only fit the atmosphere of the song, but match the music itself. You won't find many AMVs out there that make a clip of a group of legs running badass, just because it is in time to the music and has context. In fact, if anyone is running in your average AMV it's almost never in time with the music. The one's you can find, are on this channel. :P Ok, I'm done cheesily doting on you now. XD
My priorities while making AMVs are: 1. Syncing every clip with the music 2. Making sure every clip i use has movement and importance 3. Use action scenes at the chorus and slower scenes inbetween. I've seen many amv's that don't keep themselfs to these rules while i think these are the most important ones to make an amv work. Abiding by these rules is really hard. I am constantly disappointing myself while making a amv. That's why it takes months before i upload a new amv. Thanks for your nice comment! It really gives me the drive to keep going!
At first I thought Shigeshige as a funny side character. I really didn’t expect about Shogun Assassination arc and that arc is the best arc for me. There are so many character developments, serious fights and emotional scenes.

0:54 I've always loved how gintoki fights. He's not stiff and rigid in his swings or movements, he's free, swinging wildly and using things such as other people's weapons or environmental objects to succeed in fights. It speaks to him as a person too.

Its like more popular than bleach in japan, it hits different for everyone outside of japan because they dont understand the jokes unless you've ofcourse watched the parodies, understand japanese puns, culture etc
There's also a rough start where 70% of the mfs who try to watch gintama fail to get through it

I've been watching your AMVs forever, and I just now figured out why yours are a step above all the rest. You have a director's eye. You have such a talent at spotting clips that not only fit the atmosphere of the song, but match the music itself. You won't find many AMVs out there that make a clip of a group of legs running badass, just because it is in time to the music and has context. In fact, if anyone is running in your average AMV it's almost never in time with the music. The one's you can find, are on this channel. :P

My priorities while making AMVs are:
1. Syncing every clip with the music
2. Making sure every clip i use has movement and importance
3. Use action scenes at the chorus and slower scenes inbetween.
I've seen many amv's that don't keep themselfs to these rules while i think these are the most important ones to make an amv work. Abiding by these rules is really hard. I am constantly disappointing myself while making a amv. That's why it takes months before i upload a new amv.

0:54 I've always loved how gintoki fights. He's not stiff and rigid in his swings or movements, he's free, swinging wildly and using things such as other people's weapons or environmental objects to succeed in fights. It speaks to him as a person too.
