Awesome vid I made some and work great! I had a problem with driver wanting to slide off of washer sometimes tho, but now I see you cut a groove fir the nail too
thanks again for your videos! i now use these exclusively unless i am cableing off to a tree on body grippers.the only difference i have is that instead of a J i just bend a U as they cable up good and it is one less step.
Might try this. I have the 18" Berkshire Heavy Duty stakes, and while they were solid when I put them in, after a few weeks, and several rains. I was able to pull them straight up, while my 30" rebar stakes required my puller. I was disappointed.
Charles Collins they do work great. but if your leaving about any stake in the ground for weeks on end with several rains and a your using foot holds which channel the water down the driver hole you better stick to rebar,
Where did you get your swagging tool? Im tring to find one like that for the time being im crimping my ferruls is a vice or smacking them down with a hammer
Excellent video bro! What did you use to cut the slot in the driver? I tried a few using a die grinder but it was a bit wide. Lemme know your secret, lol and keep these great vids coming.
i quit doing business with F&T. One of the owners gave me a smart ass remark, when I simply asked what was on sale, after the link on one of their emailed sale flyers, did not work. Then he said he would be happy for me to do business with PCS, Tim Cavens and Snare Shop gets my business now.
Man I guess I'm a moron, I have know idea how I couldn't find this on the first time I looked (I hate asking dumb questions) .... great info though, I might have to put a few of these together. I've got a few spots that are worth doing the hiking. It's just a lot of weight to pack in stakes, these might just be the ticket, thanks
