Been working on your instruction for 2 months and my ball striking is better than it’s been in years. Funny thing is I had The Natural Golf videos from the 90’s. The instruction in those videos never clicked like your instruction does. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I can only practise 20 to 30 yard pitch shots at the moment and have only started this recently. My ball striking and confidence have greatly improved from what it was. Thanks.
@@ToddGravesGolfhave you ever experimented with Jones’ right hand grip? He pinched his thumb & index finger together which forces you to release the club down the line. I always found his swing & conversations about the game so interesting
None rotational is impractical. I will agree that Moe had the least amount of club face rotation throughout his swing. The less moving parts the more repeatable. The shorter the full swing the more repeatable. The key was finding out all his limits within his physical abilities in order to cut out unnecessary movements in order to contain where optimal efficiency was for him. This is where defining what is important to your swing, repetition, proper drills and practice rounds under game conditions are the building blocks to lower scores. Effective practice begins with awareness of the task at hand and the outcome objective.
All great information but the thing that made the biggest difference to me recently is the internal rotation of the forearm and the external rotation of the trail forearm. it's very easy to forget that I was letting the the lead forearm rotate externally as soon as I fixed that bam, I started pounding the ball and hitting it straight!👍🏼🏌♂️
Being able to "master" impact requires a mastering of the fundamentals to get to impact. Each and every position contributes and contains the required elements. While not always obvious, once obtained, they are not just useful, they are priceless because they confer the "Feeling of Greatness".
Mo had the best and simplest golf swing period, Thanks Todd ,
