You had very tough conditions in some really rugged country, Seems like you did the best you could when conditions allowed. There is always next time. Did you hear or see any wolves?
Thanks. It was some tough country for sure. Y'a, 3 out of the 5 days - rain and wind. Stinks but still, in some crazy way, it was fun. :-) Started at 4600 ft (base camp by the river) and climbed to 7700 ft (spike camp). On day 3 we climbed to just over 8000 ft. It was weird, we didn't hear any wolves. Honestly, thought we would. When that coyote barked, our first thought was a wolf. But it was only a coyote. Oh, we are still actively looking for wolves. Right now, we are baiting so hopefully that pans out here shortly. Doing it this weekend and next week - push to the end (June 30th). Getting some footage and maybe have footage of our bear.
thanks for sharing. love that back country
Thanks for watching
Man nothing like some shit weather. Looks like a awesome place to hunt.
Y’a. . The weather was not so nice. But yes it was some beautiful country. So green - everywhere
