I have fine multi type 4 hair. There is a patch of hair behind my ear that used to shrink so bad when it dried out and was so brittle it broke off really bad. After a couple of henna glosses, those curls loosened and I never had that problem again. I thought that was a type 4c section but maybe the porosity was really high and henna corrected it.
I was using henna on natural hair and one day I had it straightened with a hot comb and then washed it and on one Side of my head it would not go kinky. I had to cut it off. I think heat with henna makes it loosen curls.
@@soulaa1524 I would say it still resembles 4c curls just looser/more elastic, more hang time, some curls flow in different directions not organized coils. When I stretch with my fingers, they bounce back, instead of breaking off like it used to. Hope that makes sense.
@@HennaSooq After all these I want to try henna so as to loosen my type 4 coil but at the same time, I don't want a drastic colour change. My hair is a bit on the Medium poros range . I desperately need your advice
@@user-su6wq4ro8q sure thing! Maybe use our henna gloss (bar and/or mask) that is very moisturizing and itlll less of a reddish tint and this can loosen curls for some curls, not all though. You'll have to give it a try to see how your hair behaves.

If you used henna and it loosened your curls too much, what can you do to tighten them up?
Hello. All henna do possibly loosen curls. Using Amla and/or zizyphus powder and products will help maintain curls in between colorings.
