I’m in the US and I am entirely speculating here but I wonder if HMT could contract with one of the Chinese watch movement providers that do inexpensive hand wind movements if they wanted to continue to produce new models. Obviously it wouldn’t have that same heritage movement but it might keep them going if they can produce new dials, cases, etc..
@@watchyoulookinat I mean for me it’s a pretty hypothetical proposition because in the US I have absolutely no way to get a new HMT of any sort, especially now that domestic customers are having such a hard time.
