I love fly fishing...that's all I use for steelhead and salmon. I think you'll like it! Just remember you need as much space behind you as you have in front....especially when you're just starting out!

We are taking a Day Trip to Turkey Run State Park on Saturday (2hrs away) and it has a creek called sugar creek at the park I'm going to try it put there for the first time.... no clue what I'm doing

That's the same rod I started with. But go to the Bass pro and get a 5wt Dogwood canyon. It's like 80.00 bucks great rod combo .
