I used to assist with a very talented chiropractor on horses. Some horses just stood there and took it in stride. I liked it when they would actually get affectionate trying to show their relief. A few veterans would actually come running up when they saw our truck pull in.

Leo, you are quite the character!! Opening your stall door as if to say, "OK, I'm done!!" LOL 🤣 But you got a lot of good cracks and responses to the adjustments you made, Doc. The yawning was a great sign of accepting all of the adjustments. Your friend the Retired Paramedic, and a S&R Dog and Handler Trainer and Horse Trainer in Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦

@julier.1902 Yes, they sure can be!! Both my old mares were escape artists. I called both of them "female Houdini's"!!! One actually opened a gate and went swimming down a river!! I ended up 5 miles by road away from where she was supposed to be. Thank goodness it was summer!! I swam out to her, fashioned a soft rope halter, and then I rode her home, with my girlfriend following us with her 4 way flashers on!! The other one knew how to open doors and got into the feed room one time. I literally had to padlock that door after she did that, the one with the river, we made sure there was a Rappelling Clip on the gate, because she knew how to open the gate to the boat launch. They will give you grey/gray hair, but each one is worth the joy they bring us!! I wish you many blessings for a good week ahead of you!! Jenn 💖

Leo was sooo relaxed after the first few adjustments, and that's definitely what you want a horse to feel with you.
I remember riding a lazy and stubborn kind of horse sometimes a few years ago during riding lessons and I'd get enthusiastic compliments from my riding teacher about how relaxed the horse was and how he just pooped at the very first minutes during riding and how I was direct in my way of communicating with the horse.

Actually Leo was showing a flehmen response, it has two significations, 1 horses curl the upper lip to transfer scent mostly pheromones in the jocobson or VNO organ. 2 horses do that as well when they have ulcer colic or stomach pain, or mare do that normally after giving birth. I think Leo caught a particular scent at that moment. Thanks Emma for always being here.

I love horses but haven’t had any in this lifetime. So, I am blessed with some wonderful UA-cam videos. Thank you. I just want to add that Leo is so special that I felt his energy/ personality through the video. You all are top notch in my book. Thank you. ❤
