I liked this movie! I thought it would be boring and way over my head being about corporate business stuff but they managed to keep it at the human interest level and didn't let it get bogged down in complicated minutia.
Wasnt it Jim Croche who wrote that song about the cradle and time and how we all get busy and forget the most important things in life but by the time we realize it its too late?
Yeah, cats in the cradle with the silver spoon . . . When you coming home son . . . We'll get together soon . . . Yeah, you know we'll have good time then . . .
Hardly a positively depicted film about American corporate culture, but rather an excellent depiction of an authoritarian management style as outdated as the old-fashioned wallpapers in the corporate headquarters. Mr. Ramsey has hardly heard about human resources, a concept that Fred Staples terrifically played by Van Heflin tries to introduce. Definitely an above average film with drama and a vibrant cast of characters.
Great movie,! Compelling story with superb performances. Thanks for uploading.
What a movie! What acting! Rod Sterling is a phenomenal writer and intellect.
Exactly what we needed to hear from congressional members.
One of the best and honest corporate movies with a strong wife I have ever seen.
Brilliant in every way….written by Rod Serling. Wonderful film.
Didn't think I would like this but it was a great. I also ❤van h..
Really good, unexpectedly so. Thanks.
This movie was better than I expected.
A truly great movie. Van Heflin up there with the very best ever. The script absolutely brilliant.
Great example of corporate greed and the heartlessness of today's society.

Sounds like Harry Chapin.

They should’ve made a sequel, showing all the things that he was able to accomplish
I always liked Van Heflin
Whatta drip. He bought it. Some hero.

I see shades of Le Miserable; except the unrelenting Law of the Jungle isn't going to throw HIMSELF into the RIVER!
Too many commercials 😮
This was a made for TV movie?
No, it’s a feature film I believe.
English? This was as American as apple pie.
They mean that it's an English speaking film not that it was made by us English. 🏴
English doesn't mean British
I'm not sure why I sat through this.
Could it be, that you sat throught it, because it was a damn good movie ?
@davidburkhalter3294 Definitely not. I just find it difficult to give up on movies. Even bad ones like this.
You really believe it’s a bad movie?! I think it brilliant.
