What I like most about The Queen of Melrose is that she is respectful, cool, funny and self aware. The Queen of Melrose would be amazing addition to the shows lore and mythos.
I love how when the queen was “hitting on” the straight men, (in my opinion) it just came across as joking, light hearted, and flattering without overstepping or overdoing it. Made 15% of Ethan blush.
She just gives off such incredible fun vibes without even a hint of weird or creepy feeling like there was a part that was actually serious about the "flirting", if you know what I mean. She didn't say a single thing that stepped over the line and was just so charismatic and wholesome

I once lost 120lbs in just under a year (aside from 3 people outside of my family, I never met anyone). Turns out I was filled with anxiety about the 'compliments' I'd get on the weightloss. It's weird. I ended up going out and getting those compliments. I ended up feeling shit about myself, like the past me was a disgusting piece of slime. Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful that they said nice things, but the nicer they are now, the more apparent it was how much they didn't like my past self.
This might have been the best interview Ethan has ever conducted. I'm sure the Queen could be interviewed by a broom stick and it'd still be highly entertaining but Ethan was so great here. He was open when asked questions but still reigned in the interview and brought it back to Melrose if they were talking too much ab Ethan. Class act.
