Love that tip on shooting something when you get something new! So simple, but I’ve never done that. Great use of space also!
Yeah, I always try to do that. I even grab stuff from friends and shoot 😁 Thanks!
Good job Martin! Looks really well organised and seems like you have twice more space now... I remember that corner you have mentioned before... I even asked you what is in there and you had no clue 🤣
🤣🤣🤣 indeed, it's so different and nice!!
Man, if that's small, you haven't seen mine 😂😂 Great tour of your studio and cool video as usual!
Haha. Well, a bit of a click bait title I guess... 😁 thanks
You are the reasons I love photography, this is a big W. Nice setup maybe one day I can have these. It's my goal
You can do it! Thanks for the kind words!
My studio is only 15 meters, and this is normal practice here in Paris. I envy your 30 square meters!😅
Haha, okay. I will not complain any more 😂😂
Congratulations, Martin, looks perfect and clean!
Many thanks!
Awesome stuff Martin, how about two gels creating a nice gradient in the background, the shoes "subject" pairs hanging stylishly with hard shadow beneath the subject softlight along with "Martin" touches to make this image even more beautiful. Thank you for making I see photography in a whole different perspective.
Cool idea. I had actually the same idea, sort of. Two colored gels shooting from left/right but into some kind of powder, then after the powder I shoot the shoes separate with the gels hitting the shoes a bit... if will be a mess though, maybe add AI background in post.
PS When you say hard shadow beneath, you mean that we see the surface yes... right now I have the shoes hanging, might need to do more then one video 😁
The studio looks good Martin! For the shoes, maybe an ancient Greek themed look could work or a twist on Greek mythology. Its the first thing I think of when I hear the word Pegasus :D. Maybe some light play in form of gobos on the shoes and pillars as props. Although the shoes look very slick, perhaps a more contemporary scene might work better though. Coming up with original and new ideas can be so tricky! Also Martin, have you thought about maybe taking the foba column to a metal workshop, and having them cut it down to size?
Big thanks for the great ideas, now the video is recorded and I went for a simple one light solution with a AI background... lazy bastard 😁
Yes, I have been thinking of cutting the Foba 30cm... a bit of a hassle... maybe I should anyway
You inspire me to consider how I organize my own small space. Time for a renewal.
If you are looking for a vlog topic... How (or do you) use the TSE 90 I noticed on your lens shelf. ... and did you convert the axis?
I do sometimes use it but more often I use my Tilt/shift adapter for my Hasselblad camera.
Have not convert the axis, heard a lot about this but haven't tested yet. Are you using the TS90?
@@botvidsson I use a TS 45 that I love.
No complaints on the quality of the 45 on a 5DSr. My 'never off' lens is a 100 Macro. I'm debating the new 90 or an original version. It is only money...
Very nice ! An organized place is a huge benefit when it come to creativity and concentration 👍🏾
So true! Now I just need to go through all the bags and boxes and label up in a good way. I always run around and searching for stuff 😁
This will be very satisfying 😎
Indeed!!
Big results in a small space. Very good!
Thanks a lot! 😃
Looking good mate. I wish I had that sort of space to work in. I have to make do with half that size.
So it's not the world's smallest then!? 😁 I feel you. My biggest concern is the ceiling hight, it's a big, BIG problem.
@botvidsson yeah I feel your pain. Maybe just cut a few holes out? I am sure no-one will notice 😅
🤣🤣
I may have the smallest studio-which I call’ my Shedio’ it’s 2.438 square x maybe 2.134 at the apex! My work desk is really far too big and considering selling it to gain more space! Good job I’m not a Pro! (Though wish I was, again)
Well, any space is good as long as we can take some great photos I guess. Thanks
Hi Martin, now that you are selling your Foba Stand, are you now using a regular tripod with gear head or ball head?
Yes, I'm using a Manfrotto tripod with a geared Arca Swiss Cube, C1. Wish I could use the Foba but unfortunately the ceiling hight is too low in this studio. 🥲
It’s not a competition but mine is half that size. I shoot there product and model photography. Wouldn’t do there everything but I shout some great stuff there. The vision is most important. I love your channel ;)
Absolutely, space is just great to have. I just miss the ceiling hight...
@@botvidsson I feel you. On the other hand at the end of the day if a client has a budget they can pay for a bigger space.
@@marcinleszczynski767 Absolutely, I just rent a big studio when needed.
What is that cool little ON AIR block?
It's a bluetooth speaker with a cool pixel art display. This one, but mine is a bit older: divoom.com/en-de/products/divoom-timebox-evo
Great transformation sir.
So nice of you. Yes, I'm really happy with the space now. Small, but nice 😁
@@botvidsson small yes 😁 But you know that great things come in small packages,. It’s not the size of the room but the magic created and emanates from it!
how to beauty dish mount on wall?

It's a Swedish website, don't know if possible to find elsewhere?
Фотограф-перфекционист!😊
Отличная мастерская!
Thanks!
You can try to make a levitation shot where you cut the shoe with a katana by using an Ai tool for example. I know it's challenging but that's what you like right? ;)
😂 well, levitation and AI will be in the tutorial so… 50%!
What's interesting, my studio is 32 meters and I am very satisfied with it
My biggest and probably only problem is the ceiling height. Way too low.
@@botvidsson Yes, it is true that the height of my studio is 2m 40cm, which makes it difficult to raise the lights in some cases.
I don't even have 2 40... would love that
You should shoot those shoes with fire; I would say set them on fire but then you won't have any shoe to wear at the end so maybe incorporate fire in the background/foreground. I see you have a fire extinguisher in the corner, so you'll be ready in case of a disaster. 😂
Haha, yeah great idea! I tried some AI generated powder explosion in the background... maybe
to short !
I need to sort all the boxes and arrange the shelfs first, then.... maybe 😁
👍
great!
part two ?
In a near future... maybe 😁
Wait. Isn't this the same studio as always? I'm a bit confused!
yes it is
