Collective, Not Exclusive

In the absence of her parents, a young Shri Mataji took on many household and family responsibilities. At five years of age, she was like a mother to her brothers and sisters.
Shri Mataji never felt lost. She describes herself as extremely collective by temperament, able to live anywhere.
From early childhood, she has not been exclusive, but friendly to others and comfortable with herself. 'When I am with myself, I am never lonely at all.'
