Great video. My only comment is I've been watching a few of these and nobody seems to actually say where or hot to get these master writ quests. My search for that answer continues on.

Another fab video. Will share with my guild, along with your Writworthy guide. Very useful to save master writs for a double XP event with a second XP potion or scroll for 4 x the normal XP. Thank you Savvy. ❤

The only issue with this very clear instructional video, is the lack of information that about learning the different style motifs. To become a master crafter and be able to do these master Writs, you have to have learned the required style motif. Some are easy to acquire by just doing daily quests in a particular zone, others; you need to defeat a trial end boss just for a chance of the motif you require. or you may need to go fishing in Summerset for a month, just to get the motif you need, or purchase it from guild traders for a huge amount of gold. My point is, this is a great instructional video for new players, but they really need to be told that this is an advanced end game activity.
You can also purchase all motifs from guild traders making them very accessible!

Do yo mention that to learn all traits will take at least a year, plus you will need to purchase many Nirnhoned items for research, as it is only possible to gain one random Nirnhoned piece from finishing the Craglorn quest, you need to purchase the rest from traders.
You can also ask other players to craft burn items for ya. They usually just ask for a piece of nirncrux in return!

In this instance, I use they as a placeholder as I could not find a clear preference of gender for them.

At this point, you have researched everything else, except Jewellery, that is another story;. Now for each piece of Nirnhoned you managed to purchase, you need to wait another 30 day's to learn.
I am a master crafter and I will not sugar coat it, It takes a lot of time, commitment, and effort to do, and is truly an end game pursuit.
It certainly is something that I just have passively in the background of all my characters! When all the research is done though MAN is it nice to not have to worry about it any more!
How do you know how much to sell a master writ for?
That one can be very tricky! It depends on what type of master writ it is, and how much of a challenge it is to craft. An easy one like nord training purple blacksmithing would go for more then an ancestral daedric nirnhoned gold clothier. I use the addon tamriel trade center addon for any price recommendations.
Master Merchant gives a good snapshot of what those writs have been sold for within your guilds - I rarely don’t sell based on MM guidelines
How do you know ow if you already have the motif
If your character DOESN'T know how to craft a motif style for the item requested in the master writ, the addon writworthy will show red text below the writ description stating the character you are on is unable to craft it due to not knowing the motif style. If you DO know how to craft the motif style, writworthy will not display any red text regarding motif knowledge.
In game, you would have to go to your achievement section and search for the motif style and check the achievement for MOTIF NAME style master.
Writworthy also lets you know if you don’t have the style material on hand or in your bank - another consideration when accepting the quest
