I want J hook track in an Utility Reefer floor. I'm a container hauler presently I'm seeing more all galvanized chassis. Could that be an option for the combo and all steel flats.
Ultimately it comes down to weight of the trailer, tractor and the GVWR. Since steel is heavier than aluminum the short answer is yes. There are certain loads that need to be carried on a Steel trailer due to durability, if you have any additional questions please get in touch with us and we can discuss your specific application and make recommendations.
You bet! Mac trailers are highly customizable. Dan would be happy to help you with more information. You can connect with him directly here: www.utilitykeystone.com/sales/meet-the-team/dan-upschulte/
A standard spec Utility with no options is going to weigh 10,500 lbs. As you add options you also add weight so a setup with a tool box, winches and sliding tandem will weigh in around 11,000 lbs.
