about half of Mangaka doesn't actually love to draw. they just love sharing their story so much that they're prepared to sacrifice a tremendous amount of time to deliver the story as well as they can. it's the same as a singer. singers care a lot about the writing of their songs, but to deliver it they have to be good at singing.
That reminds me of Tatsuya Endo, he loves doing horror/serious stuff, but the wholesome Spy x Family sells more, so...

Imagine getting outraged at something happening in a story when it was obvious from the very beginning that something like that was eventually going to happen from the very beginning. It just goes to show that people don’t truly read a series and just follow the trends.
Also I can never get behind those people who complain about authors taking breaks. Yeah you could say that they are only drawing but clearly these people don’t know how how big the physical strain it is on the body to sit there and do nothing but draw for an extended period of time. This is coming from experience but what I do pales considerably to what weekly manga authors have to contend with. Honestly human beings are not made to be able to release manga on a weekly basis and the amount of manga authors with health problems just goes to prove this point.
There is a lot of effort put into artwork and manga creation. It does take a toll but I’m glad to see there’s still chapters being made. Hopefully his health and other mangaka’s health improves.

Being a content creator/artist is a lot harder than most people think. Back in my game dev days as an artist, I used to sleep for 4 hours at most on any given day, often working 16 hour days, and during crunch, I could be up for 72 hours straight trying to meet deadlines. Before retiring from the industry for a physical labour job change, I lost a lot of weight, developed carpal tunnel syndrome, and was super weak in my arms. For manga authors and animators in Japan, they're notorious for overworking themselves to death.
This says a lot about the chainsaw man community, not all of them but I'd say it's still quite a large group of people that did stuff like destroying their shit
This is just like that whole Tokyo Ghoul Re: fiasco where people started burning their manga volumes because Kaneki and Touka together but not Kaneki and Hide or Kaneki or Mutsuki. Seems like a big waste of money to just burn some manga volumes because things didn’t go their way. I don’t have a problem with Kaneki and Touka getting together because I ship these two since I first heard of Tokyo Ghoul. Even though I have some problems with Chainsaw Man Chapter 167, I wouldn’t go so far as to burn my entire collection of Chainsaw Man because that would be a waste of money.

I can barely spare any sympathy for ppl who spend money on physical copies (and even less sympathy if it's available for free online) when any number of unforeseen events from a major earthquake or tsunami to a petty theft can cause them to lose it. That said, a clean trash can in the middle of someone's room doesn't even count as a loss of anything valuable.
Mad respects to psychos who burn/destroy the things of value that they legally possess, though. Specifically, large stacks of paper money. There's no way I'd be able to disrespect that even if I wanted to. Someone who does that clearly makes more money than I do, lol.

I don’t understand why there would be fans that would be mad at a creator for prioritizing their health over their work and creations. Isn’t it a good thing for them to keep their health in check so that they can continue doing what they do? It’s essential for people to prioritize their health and safety over other things like work so that they don’t wind up being dead much sooner than later. For a fan to get upset about a creator wanting to prioritize both their physical and mental health is just ungrateful and entitled on that fan’s part, plain and simple. Creators are still human beings like everyone else. Let people prioritize their physical and mental health, please.
Overworking is awful and really dangerous and mangaka (including animators in the industry) deserve to have a more balanced and healthier work schedule.

As a Jojos fan, it definitely has its questionable moments too.
No one likes to bring this up but the worst scene in Jojos was the one where Anne got harassed by a orangutan while showering. It stained what couldve been the best episodes of part 3 and ruined by ability to reccomend it to people untill i found The Sun episode.
It makes me wish that at the very least, Anne was aged up so it could be written off as a more mature scene. If it wasnt for that part, this episode would've been perfect. That clip of them replacing CSM with Jojo was hilarious, fake and preformative
