This was a ton of fun, so I'll probably do it again with some other versions on stream again sometime! I'm thinking of trying out Summer 2015 (when I first started playing), the first BCX, and early dash, but feel free to suggest other builds you'd like to see as well! I'll make a beeg list

The evolution of this game is insane, so proud of how much bigger it gets by the day.
They've so much improved the game that Ninja turtles will be here TOMORROW
fun fact: old legends like vraxx and queen nai still have their unused weapons (like bödvar's lance) in the games file to this day. it takes a lot of game file tinkering but you should be able to see them if I am not mistaken (also I did confirm the bödvar lance parts in the game files myself just now)

and by the way holding the go backward button while switching legends reduces the rewind time, since the game continues without staying paused internally otherwise ;)
What format do the files come in?

Wait, idk if u can, but u know how katars were introduced in beta? Queen Nai had blasters in alpha so what was queen nai's blaster sig?
Some quirks about the first version of the game:
Each character for every weapon has a unique neutral signature. For instance, Vraxx blasters nsig is kinda wild, I'd recommend trying on your own time.
This version is the only version in which the signatures have names.
Doing a recovery at the same time as you touch the ground will sort of glue you to the ground while doing a recovery.
Gnash and Orion are named Thrulk and Volst in this verion, respectively.
You can actually change the game mode into a 1v1 if you have a second player, I was able to 1v1 someone using steam remote play, tweaking the settings in game is quite easy.
There are multiple maps in this version, my favorite one is the abomination that is Twilight Grove. The way that I accessed them is using the aforementioned 1v1 mode, but I am sure there are other ways to access them.

EDIT: Remembered another one, in the first version of the game (unsure as to why) there is no up dodge. You literally are incapable of dodging upwards.

ayo if any of yall noticed hattori's ssig and nsig, those can still b used in training mode if u choose a character with out spear, and u rewind the frames bakk after u play with a different character with spear. very cool :)

i think i like the brawlhalla alpha hit sound more, it sounds a lot more impactful, also at around 7:55 the screen kinda shakes when hattori lands a strong attack on thatch, which on purpose or not, i think is pretty cool
You can get those broken weapons in training by choosing a legend, doing a sig with the weapon you want, then switch to a legend that doesn't have that weapon, and then go back in the frames to the frames where the sig happens and there you go
This makes me realize just how much updates can change a game
the blasts side air was kinda cool where you switch sides
back then when someone lost a stock, his character has a different face just for the reaction of being killed, you can notice that in the 5 month later version
I like how the player that lost will just show their legend crying in the first version he played

I remember I mained Queen Nai because you could just do infinite combos with her katar slights x)

@@bigttheory nah like half of them rely heavily on sigs and over another quarter of them use them frequently but don’t rely on them.

@@pacomatic9833 yes, but brawlhalla beta if i'm not wrong had 4 maps: brawlhaven, mamoth(i don't know how to spell it) fortress, small brawlhaven and one else. All maps that have been in brawlhalla basically since it's come out.
Also it has 4 characters that are still in the game and 4 weapons and 1 signature per character. It basically will take like 40 Mbs to add it in game.
Yeah you can download the game through steam depots but you can't play with friends and also consoles have no access to it
How about just the old sigs since they are still in the files
