Anyone offers Klay "a bunch" of money at this point. Would have to be out of their minds. He could get a little more than what GSW would offer.. But I bet he stays.. Grass isn't always greener on the other side.. Cause when he's slipping on another team. Not making shots, they will DNP him. They won't have the same patience and care like GSW do about him. He should retire with the GSW and take whatever they can agree upon.. It's honestly ridiculous that Draymond got the amount of money he did.. But.. Dray also took less a few time's he could have gotten more.. While his game is also phasing out. They need to realize that it's time to step back a bit. Give up the reigns to the young guy's a bit.. I don’t think he is, but even if he did, there are teams out there with far better offers. Think like the Knicks, they can offer an all-star in Julius Randle, a great young center in Mitchell Robinson, and 5+ first rounders and swaps. That trumps anything that GS can offer, plus their superstar is WAY younger than Steph. Not even to mention the fact the Bucks have none of their 1st rounders for the next 5-6 years, they can’t do a full rebuild.

The future GSW stars can be Kuminga and Moody. They can easily put +20 points per game, with good defense. If Kerr trusted them, they would already be stars or close to it. Unfortunely, their development has been sistematically harmed by poor roster managment.
Kuminga is a really good young player; it was smart for them to hag onto him.

All they had to do was unload Green and Klay at the deadline. Instead they tease the idea that this team can defeat anyone.
Anyone gets Jarrett Allen and that's an absolute steal.. He's incredibly underrated. He's a great rebounder and one of few that can challenge the best bigs Defensively down low.
Speaking of Allen.. I wish my Pacers would have gotten him and a real good stretch PF. Then a true SF and hope that Mathurin can break out like anything close to what Oladipo was for us.. Alongside Haliburton, who should only get better. What I've been praying for. Lol will never get it I'm sure. They could have possibly screwed up by signing Pascal this off-season. Not because he's not a good player.. But because he's already in his 30's. While I believe this team is still realistically a few years away from being a real contender. If they aren't careful and resign Obi to keep him. We could lose out on developing any young guy's who should be there in the year's to come.. Ultimately setting us back once again later.. Only to stay mediocre now instead of looking at the big picture. Playing young and free now with no expectations of performing big in the playoffs would have been the way I'd went. I believe Obi Toppin is a great player. Who has been better Defensively even over Pascal in stretches. That can develop into a really good player soon. He has a great shot, is very consistent and his development would be my focus. Making him feel secure and letting him know that I believe in him and want him to be our starting PF. We've hurt our chemistry a lot with the trades.. and it's honestly a bummer to not see this team play like they did at all earlier this season. I know it was only going to slow down more so aa the season went on.. But I feel as if they completely sacrificed their identity and the 7 seconds or less that they had going Offensively. They need to add a true SF and a SG/SF that can play off the ball and most importantly cut to the basket.. Guy's that will drive the basketball... My Pacers rant over... lol

Them have a weap that is still top tier even after several "updates" but their armor is beyond outdated, and them are still trying to do "end game content" with that, and thats why its not working.

In my opinion, every old guy on the Dubs needs to go. That's Klay, CP3, Looney, Draymond, Saric, GP2, and Wiggins. Retool the roster with picks and young guys and start a rebuild. Steph would be given the option to either stay or to also get traded elsewhere. He would probably fetch them as many assets as all the previously listed players combined.

No, I don’t think this is purposely the end of the Curry ERA but in terms of Draymond Green, Klay Thompson staying in Golden State, I don’t think that will happen and unfortunately I think that for Currys legacy I think that they might have to make some massive changes in Golden State

I agree with the diagnostic of the Dubs for once but I disagree with the trades! JK is not going anywhere and you are blind if you think he's not going to be an allstar. Pods either. TJD can stay. Moody has value though and Wiggs can be moved, even Klay but NOT for lesser player. The main issue with the Dubs are lack of 2nd option scoring. We cannot downgrade, we need to upgrade. Unfortunately, we will need to continue with this group another year before calling quit or solely rely on the young guns.
The problem isn't Klay; the problem is that Warriors don' t have any system anymore and are just surviving thanks to the miracles of Curry. When they won, we forgot the chemsitry of Iguodala, Lee, Livingston and Bogut. Thompson was good because of Curry, Curry was good thanks to the spacing Thompson was creating and the screens posed by Bogut. The strengthened NBA rules are not making Warriors' live easy.

We would give our two best wings for a decent starting center while we also have trace a good young player who can’t play with another traditional center so we hinder his growth for a a bit better center for now and we give our best wings and probably 2 and 3th best players for it. I dont think the Warriors have any especially tough decisions. Just a lot to do. if you watch him play, Klay Thompson is NOT a useful NBA player anymore. He does one thing at an NBA level and is incredibly inconsistent at that. Physically he's done.
They need to get bigger, faster and stronger.(They should have drafted Cam Whitmore.) Trade Wiggins if there are any takers. CP3 needs to retire. The core is an aging Steph & Draymond + Kuminga is the most valuable player they have to build around. I like what TJD, Moody(or start with Klay gone) & GP2 provide off the bench. Loon is a good guy to have on a team.
The rest of the roster is totally replaceable/ Nothing special whatsoever. The team is in shambles going forward unless they make a lot of changes fast. A roster with a starting frontcourt of 6-6 & 6-9 and NO CENTER as an option was a total joke this season.
Pairing Steph with a bigger player like Giannis, Jokic or LeBron if he wasn't about to hit 40 would probably be the best choice. But very unlikely to happen. Steph and Klay worked so well because they both provided an insane threat from deep which meant that the defence had to focus on both of them. Unless Klay can somehow turn back the clock and get back to where he was, there's no way they can win another chip with that team. Draymond should've been going first though, I will hate to see Klay go first

Crazy how Lauri markkanen was not on this list Luri's a 7'0 FC. He's around age 26-27 he's a low key player so will only cost like a few first round picks and probably Moody, Luri is shooting around 39% from 3 he's good in the paint, and he's a good defender.
