The Lakers front office sort of fumbled this whole Lebron era. It’s hard to argue this current Lakers team would be better than the accumulation of what they gave up to get AD. Brandon Ingram, Julius Randle, Lonzo Ball (even though he got injured), Josh Hart, Jordan Clarkson, Zubac. If they still had those guys I think the Lakers would be better off.

The biggest issue for these wack NBA owners and management is they are unrealistic. They wait entirely too late to make moves and they allow star players to ruin their franchise then leave. Even if Lakers would offer all their assets i dont think it would be the best offer the suns receive for KD. Teams like the Knicks or Thunder would be the better options for Kd with assets. Bron needs to consider coming to the Knicks, real talk. He may not catch MJ in number of rings, but if he helped the Knicks win a chip then he'd be the first player to win in 3 different big markets. I think Thibs + Brunson and the Villanova 3 + OG would be a good fit for him and Bronny (not sure how Julius Randle fits in with this squad, they should trade him). Knicks also got decent collateral to build around him even more too.
