Soon we will be able to observe even planets around other stars so simply we are starting to explore the space visually, and some people creative brains start working to intense... Same as we had the situation with the Dyson Sphere for newly discovered planet - all that is new terrifies, causes our brains to add extra story to this new thing. The image showed in this video and even the news outlets was the first “thoughts” of what it looked like. After more info came in they found it to be more of a flat oval shade. But still not 100% positive on the shape. Most of everything we see from space is imaginary CG images or edited images not real images.
Of course it alien to our solar system, BUT is it a technology driven? Who knows... Keep in mind scientists cannot see the object. It's just a point of light. They infer its shape and its tumbling motion as well as its high metallic content, which you didn't mention. Also, it is not emitting radio waves.

You got to read up more about it before you comment. The object defies gravity, has some sort of propulsion unseen by typical rocks and space junk and also the picture is just an artist impression. It could very well be a sort of craft, could be dysfunctional due to its random rotations and scientists aren't your typical laymen who labels everything they see as being alien.
