A couple of Lily’s Specialty chips with nuts can satisfy need for sweets. Butterscotch paired with peanuts approximates a Payday bar, and the Salted Caramel with a few pecans makes a good turtle substitute. Makes a decent quick snack.
Your daughter is so sweet. Would like to see the personality of her mom too. I bet your wife is a sweet lady too. Wow you sure raised a special daughter. Thanks for having her on with you. I always look forward to seeing her!
🔥 I love it too! My 16 yo would be crazy for it. I would show it to her, but I’ve not recovered the keep up of her turquoise hair last year. It’s a lot of up keep re-dying to keep the color fresh and not have the bleached hair come through.🤎🧡💛
I took my candied pecans and pulsed them to crumbs, added egg whites, spread flat on parchment, used ruler to shape into small bars and baked them. When cooled, I sandwiched them around a sugar free peppermit patty and it reminded me of the girl guide mint cookies. Yum!
First off, I agree with an earlier comment that Courtney's ombre hair color looks fabulous on her! And she/her hair looks great with the rust colored cowl sweater she's wearing. I love when you two partner up in doing reviews. You smile in general but you smile moreso when she joins you. Thanks for this review. I too like Lily's dark chocolate chips. And thanks for letting us know that Bake Believe is at Costco. I'll look for it the next time I'm there.
You were so right about the bake believe white chocolate chips. I bought some today because Walmart was out of the Lilys brand. OMG the erithytol was too strong and actually melted leaving my cookies chip-less. I will not buy them again. On the other hand the milk chocolate chips by baked believe were good. Thanks so much for this video!
Once again, your videos are great. Down to earth comparisons of products rather than the typical single product “reviews” that are done as product promotions by sponsors! And so far everything I’ve tried that you recommend is spot on as good as you rated! Thanks!
Thanks! This was very informative, and entertaining. I've seen the Lily's brand at my local Wal-Mart and I've seen sugar free chocolate chips at Costco as well. I just recently bought a 7oz bag of Hu brand, organic, semi-sweet, 60% cacao, no added sugar, chocolate chips. 8gr of total carbs per serving with 2gr of dietary fiber. When I used to eat sugar and chocolate, I can say the Hu brand of chocolate bars were very tasty!
This was so great! I have used the Lily’s chips and I could not agree with you more - their white and dark chips are my favorite. I have yet to try ChocZero and had never heard of Bake Believe until today. Thank you so much for your open and honest videos.
You two are so sweet together (pun intended). I just love how you look at her with such pride.😁❤😁 We stopped using anything Erythritol in 2020. It spikes all of our blood sugar levels. BOO! I remember going over all the ingredients in Lilly's specialty bags in Walmart and how sad my girl was to put it back on the shelf. Bocha is the ONLY sweetener that doesn't spike our blood. Ugh. We REALLY wanted those butterscotch! 🤣👍 Come on, Steve ... Make us a clean Bocha butterscotch recipe in 2021!😝👍 THANKS, STEEEVE! 💃💞
I really appreciate that you guys took the time to do this. I’ve been curious about the different chips out there. Have you thought about doing an extract video? There are several out there that come in sets. I got the idea from your corn dog video. I had no idea that corn came in an extract!
While I haven’t tried the mint, I have tried the peppermint chips they had during the holidays which I assume are fairly similar. The cold flavor along with the cooling effect of the the erythritol created the “fennel effect” you are feeling. It was a lot less after melting and mixing with different ingredients, for example I was able to create some bomb ass keto York peppermint patties using them.
Totally agree with this. Using these chips in cooked product seriously can alter the cooling and fennel effect. Might be fun to do another comparison once made into something else
Thanks for the big review! I’ve seen all the Lily’s flavors at Walmart but hesitated to spend the money before knowing if they are any good. Appreciate y’all’s honesty!
Someone gave me a bar of the Lily's white peppermint chocolate for Christmas and it was so, so good! Unfortunately, it's only a limited seasonal flavour and it's sold out everywhere here in Canada so I haven't been able to get more. Very happy to hear that Lily's did so well in the taste tests, since ChocZero and Bake Believe are impossible to get on this side of the border -- now I don't feel so deprived, ha ha.
Thank you for these reviews Courtney and Steve. I buy Lily's and Bake Believe chips only. Lily's white chocolate chips is my perfect go to for mixing Macadamia Or Brazil nuts for on the go easy fudge trail mix and other recipes. The different between milk chocolate / dark chocolate I've learned something new today. I am willing change up without having not so sweet with, but more bold flavor. I also support your channel buying ChocZero syrups.
For a snack when I need something sweet, I eat raw almonds & a few Lilly's chips. Totally satisfies my sweet tooth. I really like the Lilly's chocolate mint. I was surprised that you didn't care for it as much. I really enjoy your reviews & Courtney is great doing the blindfold taste test.
Oh, best of luck Courtney! We will miss you making these videos with your Dad. Thanks to you and Connor for your service! Your Dad has a lot to be proud of in both of you and your brother.
We love those Lily's specialty chips. The salted caramel reminds us of a Rolo. Their peppermint (not the mint chocolate) flavor was really good to us too!
Steve and Courtney you two are the best in my book .I am so happy we have Lily’s at Walmart I stop by and got the white chocolate and salted caramel yum yum yum....... God Bless.
I get the Lily's bars and my favorite is the salted caramel. Have not tried the butterscotch or mint chocolate so will check those out. Thanks for sharing your findings.
What a great review! Lilys has always been our preference. Lilys had some great holiday flavored chocolate bars this past year! Their white chocolate peppermint bar was fantasti as was the gingerbread. My Husband like the hot chocolate mocha also, it was to strong on the coffee flavor for me. The salted caramel chips taste almost identical to their salted caramel bar which is our al time favorite. I will have to get my hands on the butterscotch one that sounds amazing!
I've tried several sugar free milk chocolate chips. Myself I prefer the choc zero over all them including Lily's. I look forward to trying Bake believe.
Choc Zero offered an Advent Calendar in dark chocolate. My husband, a chocoholic, and I loved it, it tasted "real" with a nice dark bitterness. Just ordered 2 more, on sale after Christmas, it's that good. No Stevia, yea! Thanks for the very helpful review.
Thanks for the tip Louise! I was taking a chance, since your comment was a week ago, but they still had them- so I ordered 4 of them @$5.99 each~ way less expensive, by weight, than other forms of their dark chocolate. I also ordered 2 bundles of the baking chips & saved another $6 off of those- plus the discount from Steve- Yay! Really appreciate you mentioning the sale =) Thank you~ Samantha in AZ
I like Lily’s chocolate and choc zero too. But the bake believe are my fav. Not white chocolate person but I like the milk and semi sweet a lot. I did not care for any of the Lily’s flavored one. The pumpkin spice was way to much cooling for me and overwhelming flavor. I am probably the only one haha.
I'm a fan of Lily's over Choc Zero - especially the peanut butter chips they now have. From Choc Zero, I love their strawberry jam (yum). Thanks for the comparison!
Ive never seen the bakebelieve at Wal-Mart first time hearing it here...I did find the Lillies a few months back..teen will steal my butterscotch n carmel but leaves my dark choc alone..she loves my fat bombs!
I freeze the bake believe milk chocolate, Lily’s white and butterscotch chips and then mix with a few macadamia nuts and pumpkin seeds for a treat once in awhile-soo good, use that mix for movie night too!!
I like very much Lily’s, actually I buy the bars for regular white chocolate. I also like sugar free Hershey chips and bars and Russell stover nugget that I also use for baking. I absolutely dislike c-zero that I find has very little chocolate. The other brand you tried I didn’t know it but I will. Very sweet your daughter.
Thx so much for your video. I bought the bocha sweet ... yes, you two rock! I’m very picky with foods in general, but I couldn’t taste the did between regular sugar and bocha sweet. Love u all!
Thank you so much for the honest review ❤️ We definitely appreciate the feedback as we are always looking for ways to improve our products. We do have some specialty mint chocolate chips dropping Friday, Jan. 8th at 9 a.m. PST 🎉
I can't find the choczero milk chocolate squares anywhere dark chocolate yes no milk please make more milk chocolate to keep up with demands there will be no milk chocolate sold out and will have 10bags of dark chocolate
I've almost given up on ChocZero because they're always sold out of what I want. Put that together with the cost, plus having to wait for a shipment? I love butterscotch, as well as caramel, so I will check that out. Thanks to Cortney for also mentioning the size of the chips! I would really like to have a tiny chocolate chip for my Cookie Dough Fat Bombs.
Bake believe is my favorite. I can't get them at Walmart right now so I've been using Lily's. The Lily's chocolate caramel are pretty good. I think the inulin in Bake Believe helps offset the stevia "wang" better than just erythritol.
This was hard for me to watch since the thing that I gave up for my 30days is sweeteners lol. When I do eat Chocolate I only eat dark, and agree 100% with Courtney: I need that bitter note. There is a bar that I grab at Walmart, the Sam's Choice 90% Cocoa Swiss Dark Chocolate that is pretty good and worth the carbs. I am still confused about the nutritional math on it ( 5 total carb, 4 fiber, 3 sugar?) but I don't need much as it has that dark bitter note. Thanks for putting this together for us. Great video as always. Be well.
I'm shocked! I LOVE ChocZero's white chocolate chips, and I find Lily's white chocolate chips to be nearly unpalatable. They can be baked with, but not edible on their own. Whereas, I will eat the ChocZero white chocolate chips on their own.
Hey Steve, I got to tell you Bake believe I've been using for months now since I found them at Walmart. They even have the chocolate bars too for baking. And Walmart carries Lily's big chocolate bar their candy bars you know where the Reese's pieces and chewing gum is. I'd say the ending of November beginning of December I found in Walmart a bag of Lilies peppermint bark and they weren't that bad I was putting it in my coffee as to flavor it. However, I went back about 2 weeks later and they were completely out of them and they never got them back again. And the mint ones I was like hesitant to try cuz. I bought the salted caramel ones I haven't tried those yet.
I enjoyed this review, I have tried the believe and Lily's I love them both for different reasons. I agree with you just tasting the mint ones I melted them and dipped keto cookies in them.
I've noticed some Keto mint flavored things are off. Like maybe just a weird mint or something. When you find the right product though, it's great. I love mint chocolate chip. Thanks for the reviews. I've seen some of these chips out there, but mostly stuck to lily's for baking or just eating haha.
I know this video is 2years old and I'm not sure if you'll get this but I was wondering if you could to a video a d try the different chocolates, whether it's the all the different brands of keto cups or or the chips and see if they spike your blood sugar? or if you've already done that let me know,?. thanks you're the man!
I've only tried Lily's so far but I'm hoping that my Costco will have the Bake Believe in store. I would love to get these for my grandkids. I did not care for Lily's milk chocolate but I'm a huge fan of the dark. Even when it comes to the bars, dark chocolate all the way.
So far I think I've been enjoying Lily's brand over Choc Zero, they're both great but Lily's has less of a waxy mouth feel. I love Choc Zero's insulated bags however.
Whole Foods has a 365 brand keto friendly chocolate chip. They are definitely crunchy. The salted caramel chips are very good mixed with dark chocolate chips in keto blondies.
Lily’s also had a Pumpkin Spice flavor, but that may have been seasonal so not in the stores now, I bought 2 pkgs, “just in case”. 🤣🥴. Thanks for these comparisons! Happy New Year🙏‼️👍
Surprising results. I thought Choc zero would win most. I usually just use 100% chocolate in my recipes but did pick up one bag of Lilly's once. Thanks for being our guinne pigs once again. I might try those butterscotch chips sometime.
I keep chips in the house to take the place of candy. Lilys does not raise my blood sugar which, being a type 2 diabetic is a good thing. I dont know about the others as i have not tried them yet. Thanks for testing things out for us. I now eat the 5 seeded bread as Mjiers carries it and my DIL works in the bakery so it is easy to get my hands on it.
Great video. I like Lily's taste better, but I eat Choc Zero because I find it's easier on my digestion. Also I eat too many Lily's when I have them, but Choc Zero I am able to control myself.
The first time I tried the mint ones I liked them. The next time they had more of that alcohol imitation flavoring mint taste to me so not sure if their formula changed. I love the lily white chocolate over choc zero because in my carb days I loved flips white chocolate pretzels and lilys taste more like that white chocolate. Thanks for the reviews
Awesome! I used the mint chips in Joe Duff's recent fudge recipe. It was actually pretty darn tasty. I also used the butterscotch in his chocolate chip cookie recipe. Delicious.
My taste buds are a bit different - I kind of like the mint and find the butterscotch and salted caramel just so-so. I agree on the dark chocolate chips and all the Bake Believe chips I've had seem eyrthritol heavy. Lily's are definitely pretty easy to find, but I usually grab a bag or two from Choc Zero when I have an order. Unfortunately it's a bit of a double edged sword to have so many good choices - easy to overindulge!
If not ordering online, we have Lily's and Krisda (stevia) in Canada. I have not tried the Lily's (over ten dollars for a small bag) I bet your prices are better. The Krisda has barely any taste (I don't recommend). Thanks.
Agreed. I keep trying to get BochaSweet to do some sort of program with me where I can offer a discount. So far, they only want to do wholesale partnerships...
I really like Bake Believe in Milk & Semi-sweet. Their white chips melt away in baked goods & leave empty "pockets" where they used to be. Not pretty when you're selling your baked goods!😖 I have never tried anything ChocZero (yet). Lily's salted caramel milk chocolate & salted dark almond got me through truffle making season 2019, like a champ.😋 I think I bought 120 bars when I found them 50%off +$1 off coupon. I still have 6 bars. Wish I could find *that* deal again!!🤑 Our small town Walmart carries most of the Lily's chips, and all the Bake Belive varieties+ Bake Belive chocolate bars- which seem to be pretty new.
Lilly's are my favorites, but unfortunately my gut doesn't agree with me. Choc zero is my option, but more expensive and hard to get. Thanks for the review!
I agree. I tasted all the new Lily’s flavors and thought the mint tasted “fake”. The butterscotch was good too. I was also shocked that there were so many carbs. Definitely have to limit those.
On one of the cooking channels the host was making something similar to nestlies crisp bar for Lilly’s. Of course I had to buy them I haven’t made the recipe yet but they are delicious. You would never know they are sugar-free. I’m definitely gonna try the recipe
I have loved Lilly's dark chocolate chips...they definitely hit the spot for anyone needing a chocolate fix. I just eat a few especially in the evening ..they just satisfy. I don't feel deprived ...sooo glad I discovered them. They are a bit pricey..but honestly they are worth it if they help you stay on track.
Lilly's dark chocolate have been my go to cheat for over a year. (99% carnivore) I was hoping for a good review on the mint. I'm going to try them anyway even though I know your reviews are always spot on, I'm hoping you are wrong this time.😀 If they are really bad I feed them to the grandkids, they'll eat anything...like Mikey.
I wanted to like the choc zero chips and he flavor is good but I find the sticky texture offputting. Also, the chips are small and tend to get lost in baked goods. My absolute fav is the lilys white chocolate peppermint chips. I snagged 4 bags before they were sold out at walmart.
Walmart here carries all of the Lily's products, and their newer flavor, Salted Caramel Chocolate, is now my favorite baking chip! I'm a dark chocolate fan, too, so I've begun to use both in my keto sweet things, such as fat bombs.
Lily’s is definitely my favorite keto chocolate bar! I love almost all the flavors. The peanut butter cups are amazing! Not that big of a fan of their chocolate with caramel varieties though as their salted caramel is a little too salty for me, plus the caramelization is sticky and hard, and I prefer caramel texture to at least be semi-soft to chewy, if not gooey and very soft. I love pretty much all their other chocolate treats though! Their milk chocolate hazelnut bar closely reminds me of a Hershey bar with almonds. My new spring-summer time favorite now that strawberries are finally in season again is taking a bite of a Lily’s white chocolate bar and a bite of a nice cold fresh strawberry! 🔥
🇨🇦 Lily’s is the easiest to get here. Of chips only been able to get the white, milk and semi sweet which I guess is dark. Maybe just use a mint extract with chocolate chips? My fav seasonal bar was gingerbread milk chocolate. Favourite bar though is coconut dark bar
We love the Lily's chocolate mint! To all of us, it tastes like an Andes after dinner mint! Love the Peppermint white chocolate also, to bad it was offered only for a limited time! Hopefully they bring it back permanently. Do you have a Butterscotch pie recipe? 🙏 Thank you for ALL you do for us! ❤ you guys from Arizona
I love ChocZero white and milk chocolate chips, but Lily’s is my fave dark chocolate chip. I haven’t tried Bake Believe but since ChocZero sells out of milk chocolate so quickly, I’ll make it a point to pick some up on my next Walmart run. I really appreciate you and Courtney trying those out because I trust your opinions (even if I avoid the erythritol cool mouth feel like the plague). I haven’t seen Lily’s salted caramel chips yet, but I’ve tried the pumpkin spice and butterscotch. I also have peppermint that I’ve yet to try. The pumpkin spice isn’t very pumpkin-y or spicy. And of course I have 2 more bags because I was hopeful 😒. After your mint chocolate chip review, I’m almost afraid to try the peppermint!! But since they’re already in my pantry, I guess I’ll have to brave it someday. The good thing is my keto daughter will take any I don’t like, so it’s not a total waste. Thank you again, and my thanks to Courtney for her honest, non-keto-eater reviews. They will come in handy when my in-laws drop in again-hopefully for a much shorter visit this year 🙄
I love Lily’s. I tried the white chocolate Bake Believe chips in some low carb cookies and they completely disappeared out of the cookies! Tried them again another time, same issue. The Lily’s always work though. I’ll stick with Lily’s and ChocZero!
I really enjoyed watching this review.......though none of these brand’s are freely available in Australia. Can buy Lily’s from Amazon (if you can afford them).........
A couple of Lily’s Specialty chips with nuts can satisfy need for sweets. Butterscotch paired with peanuts approximates a Payday bar, and the Salted Caramel with a few pecans makes a good turtle substitute. Makes a decent quick snack.
Good tips! Thanks!
Thanks for the ideas!
I’ll have to try these.
Indeed, these are great tips and ideas. Thanks!
We will miss you Courtney! Thankyou to you and your brother for your service.

I’m an American expat living in Europe. Although I’m not able to buy these brands here, I still thoroughly enjoy watching. Thanks Steve and Courtney!
I live in Europe and l’m not able to get those brands here too but still enjoyed the video a lot. Thanks a lot for the video.
Thumbs up to Courtney for trying a flavor she doesn't like, and you made her taste it last. LOL
I took my candied pecans and pulsed them to crumbs, added egg whites, spread flat on parchment, used ruler to shape into small bars and baked them.
When cooled, I sandwiched them around a sugar free peppermit patty and it reminded me of the girl guide mint cookies.
Yum!
Neat idea!
I've tried all of the Lilys favors with your clusters. That's how many batches of your clusters I've made. :)
Those clusters were delicious! And he was right about how much better the salt flakes make them:)
Those clusters got me through the early pandemic!
I make clusters too! And the yummy cookies and cream chocolate bar!!! Nomnomnom!!!
First off, I agree with an earlier comment that Courtney's ombre hair color looks fabulous on her! And she/her hair looks great with the rust colored cowl sweater she's wearing.

Enjoyed reviews so happy Walmart stepping up with keto products. Thanks you too. Jennifer 😁
Great review guys. My favorite new use of lily's chips is in chia seed pudding. Don't ask how much I put in because I don't measure.
Nice test!
I love all the Lilly's chips including the mint. I make my own thin-mints, but I add a little extra flavoring.
You two are so sweet together (pun intended). I just love how you look at her with such pride.😁❤😁

Extract video should happen before the end of the month.
Considering you're a ChocZero affiliate, I appreciate the honesty.
I've tried them all, my favorite is Choc zero every time 🥰 I really like them especially well in the Lakanto brownie mix or the sugar cookie mix🤩

Tried all the Lily's. The only one I've repurchased and will definitely buy again are the Salted Caramel ❤️
Always enjoy your reviews. So great that Courtney will help you out. I bought the ingredients fir the cluster. Am anxious to try them😋

Thank you.
Great review! I appreciate your "testing"! Haven't bought any of them as yet so this helps me a lot..especially with the erythritol "cool"!
Lily’s is totally the best! I am so picky with flavors. I don’t like erythritol much. Switched to allulose because erythritol has such an aftertaste.
Chocolates - there’s no suffering in keto!
On a note regarding budget concerns, Bake Believe is a dollar cheaper than Lilly's at my local Wal-Mart.
Good info.
I've tried several sugar free milk chocolate chips. Myself I prefer the choc zero over all them including Lily's. I look forward to trying Bake believe.

Agree wait time for Choczero shipments sucks.
Thanks for sharing your opinions 🙂👍 Courtney, your hair looks beautiful 🙂💜🙏✌🌞🎶
I enjoyed this review, I have tried the believe and Lily's I love them both for different reasons. I agree with you just tasting the mint ones I melted them and dipped keto cookies in them.
I've noticed some Keto mint flavored things are off. Like maybe just a weird mint or something. When you find the right product though, it's great. I love mint chocolate chip. Thanks for the reviews. I've seen some of these chips out there, but mostly stuck to lily's for baking or just eating haha.
I know this video is 2years old and I'm not sure if you'll get this but I was wondering if you could to a video a d try the different chocolates, whether it's the all the different brands of keto cups or or the chips and see if they spike your blood sugar? or if you've already done that let me know,?.
thanks
you're the man!
Thanks you two. This makes it easy for me when I go shopping 😁👏👍
Happy New Year🙏‼️👍
I saw them at Walmart. Was afraid lol
Thanks for sharing!!
I'm glad someone agrees with me about the mint chocolate Lily's. I love chocolate mint, but those are inedible.
Something is just wrong about them. 😄
I make chocolate fat bombs, and i simply add a few drops of peppermint extract to them if i want mint chocolate taste
Unfortunately it's a bit of a double edged sword to have so many good choices - easy to overindulge!
thx! for comparisons! Hope I can find the butterscotch in Canada!
If not ordering online, we have Lily's and Krisda (stevia) in Canada. I have not tried the Lily's (over ten dollars for a small bag) I bet your prices are better. The Krisda has barely any taste (I don't recommend). Thanks.
Thanks for the Canadian tips!
100% agree with dark chocolate Lily’s. My go to.
I'm so with Courtney, really don't like the mint/chocolate flavor. Great video Steve! Always appreciate your efforts!
great review. thanks. can't wait for bocha sweet, allulose and swerve to become less expensive....
Not pretty when you're selling your baked goods!😖
I have never tried anything ChocZero (yet).
Lily's salted caramel milk chocolate & salted dark almond got me through truffle making season 2019, like a champ.😋
I think I bought 120 bars when I found them 50%off +$1 off coupon. I still have 6 bars. Wish I could find *that* deal again!!🤑
Our small town Walmart carries most of the Lily's chips, and all the Bake Belive varieties+ Bake Belive chocolate bars- which seem to be pretty new.
Thanks for sharing!!
Oh Lordy, I've stayed away from buying any sort of chocolate, but y'all are making me want some!!😄😄😄😄🌹🍫
I like lillys ... thanks for the product reviews... you and courtney always give me the giggles in the product reviews..😄
I really like the Lilly's chocolate mint chips...give them a try.
@@maryssmith5681 ordered them! I can't wait to try them. I'd love to have a keto version of thin mints cookies for my bday in spring.
I wanted to like the choc zero chips and he flavor is good but I find the sticky texture offputting. Also, the chips are small and tend to get lost in baked goods. My absolute fav is the lilys white chocolate peppermint chips. I snagged 4 bags before they were sold out at walmart.
That’s pretty much Courtney’s opinion too.
Lily’s salted caramel is our favorite. I am with you on the mint chocolate chip. The mint stuff tasted like diluted NyQuil.
I loved the mint chocolate ones! Also I love the pumpkin spice chips but I think they are seasonal
Walmart also had lilies peppermint white chocolate and pumpkin spice over the holidays.
I wish I would have known about the peppermint white chocolate. That sounds good.
Pumpkin spice sounds yummy!
Total agreement on these....I've tried them all too.
There will be some pie things coming before spring. That's as much as I want to say right now. 😉
@@SeriousKeto Yay! Thank you! That's great! I'm so totally down for pies! 😋 😃 🌞
They will come in handy when my in-laws drop in again-hopefully for a much shorter visit this year 🙄
😄😄😄😄😄🌹
I have tried the peppermint ones they are one of my favorites and I love the mint ones as well so very good
@@dottygirard2581 Thanks! I was planning to make brownies with peppermint chips this week
@@angelaa9948 oh they will b so good ! Lol
@@angelaa9948 I also tried them in hot cocoa so good u should try it as well 😁
I love Lily’s.
Thanks I normally use lilly's, never tried the other 2. Choczero I love for candy.
