Yeah its really just more realistically rendered, the characters proportions and musculature is still classic Capcom cartoony. So its really not that big an adjustment. I instantly knew who both characters were
@@Getwright- Im sure that even if they go with RE Engine's level of realism, Street Fighter will have that..... lets say "anime" or "cartoonish" look on it still sticking.
I mean how many of people are going to freak out over Dhalsim yoga moves rendered in realism? Or even the BIG ones like Cammy or Chun-Li lol.

Hell, imagine the marketing potential of putting Rival Schools and Power Stone on the same collection! Maybe have a quick animation of Batsu taking on Edward Falcon in a sparing match! 🤩
If the fighting collection does good they will most definitely do it I believe along with a possible Darkstalkers game 🤞
God I got Power Stone day 1 and Capcom had a fantastic outing on the Dreamcast
The Rival Schools games being left out might be because they're 3D. If they do a 3D fighting game collection I hope they include those and all the SF EX games. Tho I'm not sure what else they'd have beyond that, not too familiar with 3D Capcom fighters.
I mean they got Power Stone but that’s it for their 3D fighters
@@jinkies1649 CAPCOM 3D fighters are very limited. And even then, Power Stone feels like Smash Bros if you think about it lol
I think there was also Star Gladiator and Plasma Sword.
Really looking forward to the design that they have for Sean in this engine. Just not in terms of age, but style. Capcom went out of the way too to confirm that Laura's III Arcade Ending was canon too...so we should be seeing a battle hardened, more seasoned Sean than we ever have before. The hype is *too real.*
I can see Power stone, star gladiator and rival schools in a 3d fighters collection. And I'll be there faster than the hedgehog. And I'll def be there for any CVS (not the pharmacy lol). And MVC, no Disney b.s allowing

With regards to SF6, I really need to see some great rollback netcode, first and foremost. I absolutely cannot abide playing a game that is in the state that SF5 was in for years. I also need to see less cashgrab DLC. Gameplay, I just want to see what they do with a new staff on the project.
Very excited for this one! We're moving on to the next generation of street fighter and I'm hoping it doesn't disappoint!

The Capcom Fighting Game Collection looks like its made by the same team as the Beat-Em-Up bundle (same UI and similar features), so it’ll for sure be as hell.
As a Darkstalkers and FMM fan I am most excited for the collection.
Dude, you and my friend must be connected because even he said that Rival Schools and Power Stone were missing lol. If I am not too involved with Guilty Gear Strive, KoF 15 and DNF Duel then I will definitely give this collection a go, especially since all of the Darkstalkers games are in it. As for SF6.......ok the one thing I will give the teaser is Ryu actually has a beard for once and it is not because of DLC costumes but other then that, really not feeling the whole realistic approach for Street Fighter but nice that 6 is confirmed. Darkstalkers lives again along with Pocket Fighter, Red Earth, Cyberbots and with ROLLBACK!
I'd like to imagine most of them are going to receive all new redesigns in the RE engine. Whether they'll be good or bad only time will tell. Overall Luke has seen some improvements for his design but still falls short for a lot of people because he's... well... Luke. Personally I like his new look and I don't think he's that bad of a character his overall personality is something that I like but his story is extremely generic and feels very lazy. I'm hoping that with this upcoming game instead of making one big cinematic story mashing all the characters like a bunch of lifeless action figures, I'd much rather smaller shorter cinematic stories that possibly delve into the characters conflicts and their demons or maybe just their everyday life something like the "character story" in Sfv did but instead of a comic strip make them short cinematic stories.
Although I'm one of the few that actually enjoys Sfv I'm not blind to the fault and issues it had. Sfv had a lot of ideas and concepts scrapped near its release and I really hope that with SF6 this time around there's at least a focus point, some kind of direction where they know where they want the game to go.

2:30 good point Digi. I want this just to see a 3D fighter collection. And Puzzle Fighter,Cyber Bots and Red Earth. I was hoping Final Challengers would be on here. But all good.
They should do a volume 2 for 3D games (Project Justice, Rival Schools, Plasma Sword) and then a volume 3 for the versus games (vs SNK 1/2, Marvel 1/2, etc)
I really would like to see how Q, Necro & Twelve will look with the RE engine.

I'm curious, what happened to Who Dat? I guess it makes sense to end it with your favorite character of all time as where else can you really go from there.
I think the reason Rival Schools and Power Stone aren’t in this is because they’re 3D fighters and they’re focusing on 2D fighters, and the crossover games have a different layer of difficulties to overcome. Not saying they aren’t watching this to see if they should make more and not saying they shouldn’t bring back their 3D and crossover series, but I’m not roasting them for not including everything. After seeing them give us back Red Earth, Cyberbots, and Darkstalkers, I’m willing to give them a little breathing room.
if they want to bring the crossovers, I really need CAPCOM to have a good talk with SNK lol.
If you're cautious of whether RE Engine can handle less humanoid designs, we have RE7 and 8 to look at. It'll be fine.

Their logo looks like some type of Gem System you would see in a cell phone game. Maybe that's what it is? Some type of Gem System being teased at.
I wouldn't really call this hyper realistic. Luke still has his Popeye arms.
when it comes to characters, I think SF6 is going to be similar to sf3; a couple of familiar faces (Ryu, Ken, Chun) and then a bunch of new characters.
And the new characters will be a pecifically designed to work well with the more realistic style.

Now would we ever see another shot of a Capcom Fighting Evolution but better executed and more like MVC? A pipe dream, but a dream nonetheless.

I don't think characters like Blanka or Dhalsim will be in this installment cause they might be something of they couldn't animate Dhalsim stretching his limbs and what not with this engine or some excuse but I could be wrong I actually always wanted a realistic approach of Street Fighter.
All I want is a Darkstalkers game that looks like a goofier version of the Darkstalkers OVA, which took itself too seriously for its own good. Basically I want a Darkstalkers game that's like an M-rated Guilty Gear Strive.
I would love a SF game like KOFXIII but thats never gonna happen lol so i just hope capcom do thier best with the new style

The only i disagree with (And i said this many times) is the logp. i actually like the logo because it gives a feeling of nostalgia from like back in school when everyone was drawing S's in a specific way. Not to mention i like is's urban graffiti type of look its got going on.
I dont do hyper-realistic in fiction, if I want to look at real people there's tons of movies I can look at, I want my games to be cartoons or anime.

All you said about the logo of SF6...ON POINT XD. Yeah hope....HOPE they fix that. I loving the look of the characters, and despite they are definely using the RE Engine, I don´t think they go all realistic, I mean YEAH, realistic texture HAIR (thank god for that), but still anatomy wise they still are doing the exaggerated proportions of muscles and hands and huge feet, and looking at Ryu and Luke, I think they will do fine....I still worry about something ELSE, as you mention I will love to see the weirdos like Zangief, T.Hawk and Blanka to see how they look, but I think they will looks great, the Previous CG trailer of SFV have some good level of textures and characters like Sagat, Blanka and G looks great there so based on that I think they will look fine..............my worry is on THE GIRLS, look I just don´t want they start making REALISTIC approaches as excuses for tone done the sex appeal of the girls....if I see Cammy on pants, that's a flat out RED FLAG, so hope they just use this engine and go CRAZY with all characters. Lets hope the roster be healthy, 18 to 20 characters to start....is unlikely seen that the TREND now is 15 and 12....hell SFV have more characters than Guilty Gear Strive at release, main reason I didn't ended buying that game, so hope Capcom don't do that. Good NETCODE PLEASEEE......and ARCADE and STORY MODE from the start, not do the release with NOTHING like SFV did, hope Capcom approach this as a complete game....also I hope if the game will have new mechanics they go deep with this and not add 1 vtrigger or focus, or what ever, give all character from start multiple options....I not want to again wait to the SUPER SF6 or ARCADE EDITION or CHAMPION EDITION for that, start ambitious. Anyway I really hype, I hardly can't wait for the gameplay to get really excited..............oh and hell yes, I defined buying that collection, lets prove Darkstalkers deserve a NEW GAME.
I would disagree with selling seperate collections. I think an easier and much better solution to do would be releasing games as DLC for maybe 5 bucks a pop?
As for sf6, I'm not about the look, really hoping in game is something different lol. Unlikely I'm sure, but... This is not the franchise for whatever look r.e has going on. Like you, waiting till we see how the ladies and more whacky designs look in game

People have been asking for sequels to many of these series. Not low effort collections. I didn't buy the last dark stalkers for that exact reason. I get the argument that this is the first step in today's risk adverse development process but most Capcom FGC fans want something new

Oh I bought this game and let me tell you I was not disappointed with this or Sonic origins I know that sonic origins is controversial when it comes to changes
But this isn't about sonic origins this is about Capcom fighting games collection I want a marvel vs capcom collection now like xmen children of the atom (not the god awful comic), Marvel superheroes, Xmen vs Street Fighter, Marvel superheroes vs street fighter, Marvel vs capcom clash of heroes and Marvel vs capcom 2 please capcom I am begging you to make it just ask Marvel for the permission to make a marvel vs capcom collection ok thank you.

-the reason i see Power Stone & Rival Schools not showing up is because Capcom doesn't have their own Dreamcast/PSX Emulator & are being very Capcom about it, I would hope for more games to be added as DLC
-i mean DarkStalkers with Rollback is already selling point
-i mean you say that, but we already got weirdo monsters like the whole DMC5 & RE:8 cast, so is clear that the Capcom art team can portray Convincignly Realistic Weirdos that aren't exactly realistic but trick your Brain
-also the fact they they went for Hot Ryu & StoryMode costume Luke instead of their defaults means that they have been listening to the Fanbase somewhat

Seriously Capcom make this take place after 3rd strike all ready no more prequels before Street Fighter III I think we had enough of that. Because Ryu looks older here so it would make perfect since If this game takes place after 3rd Strike just no more prequels before SFIII anymore.
Edit: I just looked at a tweet and it turns out that the developers said that this game will take place after Street Fighter 3 3rd strike I was like I am just going to take a minute here. ToT 😢 😢😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This what I am talking about capcom this is how you do a sequel no more interquels like you did before I mean I was fine with SF4 because capcom during that time were ashamed that the CPS3 bombed so I was fine with it but then sf5 comes out and yes I was fine with this as well because it explains why M Bison was not in SF3 and how Gill appeared but then i now I am like ok that how it was now give me a sequel to 3rd strike and with SF6 around the corner it will be a reality so thank you capcom I now support this game and wounder where the game is going to go in the future.

Fighting games need to evolve and if SF6 is just SF5 but with less characters I'm out. Time for fighting games to evolve or drown
The idea of "buy this collection so we can get a new X" is rather flawed, fans bought every Darkstalkers release that Capcom put out but even with all of them having relatively high sales we still never got a new game.
It kinda leads to sucking up to a company that ultimately only cares about your money and little else.
That being said I'll definitely keep my eye on this, probably pick up the collection at some point if there's decent netcode.
Well it is 2d so of course there not gonna do the 3d ones combine with 2d one off the bat. Also we dont need another sf4 and sf5. We need the real sf
