This is the video that changed the game for me! ive being doing this ever since i came across this video and man im soooooo happy I found it. My hair is so fluffy and beautiful
Emily Maina i actually got doctors telling me that when i was younger! My scalp has some difficulties to breath because i have too much hair and that causes my psoriasis/ eczema 😢
@@Peggypeg_ wow....but I think I could endure a lot for hair as thick and beautiful as yours😧. Meanwhile, I'll experience my dream hair through your videos😊.
Love it! I will definitely try this technique. The other air-drying tutorials (scarf method, etc) do not address newgrowth, especially the closer one's hair is to relaxer time or stretching a relaxer beyond 3 months. Their methods also don't address the tangles and areas that the scarf method or air drying doesn't smooth since the scarf mostly smooths the edges and cannot smooth effectively the crown area. Other air-drying methods take forever to dry the hair too. Your method seems to leave the newgrowth smooth without needing to apply a flatiron, thereby there are fewer to no tangles, no need for direct heat, and more efficient drying time. In addition, your technique of roller setting and drying under a hood dryer helps seal in the moisture from the water and conditioner to the hair strands. A win-win for delicate relaxed hair. Thank you for sharing 😊
Wow, this was so well-written. The way you laid out exactly why this method is helpful in comparison to other methods was so well-put. Yes, I agree that gentle, indirect heat from sitting under a hooded dryer really seals the cuticles of the hair strands, effectively sealing in the moisture from the lightly applied detangling spray. No wonder her hair has so much sheen without any greasiness.
I roller set my hair after washing. It is thick like yours (and I just cut it, so we have the same length), and blow drying is a trial. I can't coordinate both hands. LOL. I am washing my hair this Friday and will try this. So glad I found this! I have looked at a lot of "relaxed hair" videos, but usually the person's hair is not as thick as mine, so finding you has been a blessing. Great job!
Came here after seeing your IG video! Loveeee the results... always had issues with roller sets because I could never get them to stay, they always floppy and messy. I tried it just now and I am excited to see how it turns out when I take them out in a couple days. Thanks so much again!
Oh it came out nice and shiny with no greasiness! Can't wait to try this! I can't roller set to save my life but I can definitely do your method! Thank You!
Omg thank you so much for this! God bless you. You made it so easy to understand! Everytime someone explains it I get so confused! Can you also do this with relaxed hair with new growth?
I love this roller set it’s so simple basic and clever, you don’t put to much time by putting to much rollers Love it. What heat do you put the hooded dryer on ?
My hair is also really full, but this is such a smart time-efficient technique and your roots still lay flat! Do you think this could work with thick 4c/4b hair?
Tfs. Have u ever tried end papers for ur roller set?. We did when we were growing up in the 70's and still do. We also use/used ear covers bfore applying the net. Btw u rock...
@@Peggypeg_ we used and still use end paper wrap to help hold and smooth/reduce frizzing as the hair is being wrapped around the roller/perm rod. Gosh i hope im explaining it right. U might hafta go to u-tube and type it in to see the demo. They are especially good to keep ur haur from snagging on the foam/sponge rollers.
