Thanks Jose. Just finished the next one in the series which is quite a cool tune. My aim is to go through both volumes 1 and 2 of Sittin' in with the Big Band. Thanks for watching! :)
Cheers Earl and yes indeed it is. The beat landing on the '3' gives it a loping feel and not at all celebratory to my ears - I tried breaking out of that a bit. The other thing was when I 'let go' slightly - no fill markings but it just begged for that. But i think I could have gone on longer. Thanks for stopping by man - really appreciated.
I took a lot a liberties on this chart ... I soloed the what section because it begged for some excitement. I just listened to mine again ... you just have to have fun with these charts. Otherwise they sound “unhip” as written. You looked like you broke out a bit. Nice playing
Nice playing and song, good job my friend :D cheers.

@@earldrum - I'll check that out later today Earl (I like to look after I've shared). Have to play now while I can (neighbours). Cheers! :)
Great playing! Is this in Sitting in with Band book 1? Will have to have a go at it myself.
It is John (as far as I recall). Thanks for your comment - appreciated.
