My almost 5 year old niece is obsessed with Harley Quinn from DC Girls. My sister made her a Harley Quinn costume and I will be making the 'kid version' of the mallet. Your tutorial was the simplest and easiest one I've found. thanks. Havent cosplayed in years so this will be fun for me to make

hi! why did you need to put wood glue? btw your mallet is amazing. I'm making one for my daughter.

+Nolly Mejia Thank you so much! The wood glue or mod podge is used to smoothen the surface of the mallet as well as fill in any gaps or holes there might be!

Can I use gesso instead of wood glue?

I have never used gesso but i don't know why it wouldn't work, you basically just want to seal everything. Also sorry for the late reply!
