The overall quality is decent, but I don't like the way the light falls on Lara's face and neck. The neck line is too sharp compared to the softened original. A slight improvement in the graphics will make it perfect.
Wow, the graphics and cutscene in the tomb raider aod version 1.5 is amazing. The animations in the cutscene are absolutely cool like when lara trys to charge threw the door to open it, but closed, and then lara kick the door to open it to run inside the apartment, and lara closed the door, and lock it in place. Congrats bro.😄👍♥️
Good job and if Aspyr hires you it could be perfect for Tomb Raider 4-5-6 Remastered and solve all the AOD problems and errors and be able to launch it on all platforms PS4, PS5, PC, Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series. TRAOD needs a good Remastered and these projects could help the game whatever it could be... and since Aspyr has the source code and the original engine, justice would be done to this great game..
hate to burst your bubble but they only got the original engine for the PS1 games and source code for those specific ones, anything on the PS2 or later they would have to get
@@XDivineRyro I said this because Aspyr developed the Mac port from TR1 to TRAOD and they already have previous experience with the saga and that is why we have TR1-2-3 Remastered and since it has been a sales success we will soon have TR4-5-6 Remastered. I'm not saying you're not right, but many people ask for AOD and the correct thing would be for it to be together with The Last Revelation and Chronicles. If they don't end up releasing AOD TR4 and TR5, they should come out as DLC for TR1-3 Remastered and have the classics together in Remastered instead of releasing them in another collection.
I love the animations and camera work and the better quality of the game overall! Just one thing: I like the colors of the original better: the 100% green thermal camera and the blueish derelict building street level
Great, though the new version being more dramatic might make it all the more disappointing when you go up the stairs in the level and the police easily break the door open after like five seconds 😂
AI texture upscale is such a small part of the work here. This is updating models, cameras, lighting, animations. The upscaling of textures is a minor thing compared to all that.
@Kasia3127 nvidia ai upscaling called nvidia rtx remix can solve all your problems in a minute...model is also ready , you can put the camera and the animation in the original position ..lightning,shadow,texture etc all can fix the ai rtx remix easily...

Cut content, voice lines, features, areas, cutscenes etc all need to be pulled from the game and added back in as well. Also, did you consider that it’s no fun to do that? That’s not going to be this person’s remake, that’s the remake anyone with access to the program could do. That would be the NVIDIA RTX Remix version. Seems you could do it since it’s so easy, so why bother asking this person to when they could showcase actual talent and learn skills along the way? Easy way out is lame, do it yourself.

I've been involved in the modding community for about 15 years and it's just a bit shortsighted to tell the average person- usually working on something totally alone and between real life work hours- that their passion project is taking too long, y'know? It doesn't help and can make modders/devs feel rushed or even make them feel like they're not doing well enough bc it's too slow. Say something nice, offer your ideas, but the "too slow" part can be left out :)

IIRC, if you put the cabinet in front of the door, you actually buy yourself a few more seconds of time than if you don't.
I now count more on Aspyr remaking/remastering AoD than on this project getting released.

you are making it too slow...try to use AI texture upscale for fast development...
