Hi Andy, great review, you picked out a cracking good van. It would pass for 2 years old never mind 10, it looks as good as new. Lovely bright and airy interior that looks able to compete with any 2024 designs. I liked the quality of the lounge seating and it has a good kitchen design and a great spacious washroom. It's a quality brand that has stood the test of time very well and I agree it would be money well spent on a tourer for 2 people. Fair play to the dealer it's a very well presented caravan.
What a great van in excellent condition, a bargain for someone my Favourite Caravans are currently Coachmans made stylishly and well equipped, yes I agree with you a hidden gem that one.
We have a 2012 VIP 460, which is an identical van, except for the pattern on the seat backs. Ours is fitted with a status aerial in the exact location in the wardrobe as in your video, but there is no evidence of any other type having been fitted. I did notice on the TV point, there were no 3 pin RGB outlets. In our caravan they are fitted and allow you to play DVDs from the radio/CD player direct to the TV, the sound coming out of the caravan speakers. Whether that was an option when bought new, I've no idea, but it is great when on CLs out in the countryside surrounded by trees with poor TV signal. As you say the 460 is a great caravan and it would have to be something really special to makes us consider changing. Great informative video as usual but especially the content of this one.
Hi Graham thank you fro the info and comments - think the stick aerial went on from around 2013/14 - yes remeber that feature Swift put it in to but the idea didnt stop around long for some reason maybe cost - yes this 460 was a nice well kept tourer. Thanks for watching
Andy you are correct used to have Bailey when I got my Coachman I was over the moon and 4 years later still am. Yes I would buy it however living in Hampshire it’s a bit too far to go. Keep the good work up and any more old vans being saved or where factories makers were?
Still looking good for a 10 years old. Someone looked after that van, but think the fact it’s a Coachman plays a big part of that. Cheers buddy
It was in real nice condition I went straight across to it and I wasnt dissapointed - thank you
