Like you, I'm using a Pro 1000 for both 9mm and 380. And, like you, I am very happy with the press. I've made more than 3500 rounds and have had very few issues and I haven't broken the chain. The instructions are terrible for adjusting the chain and that is why so many people break them. I was lucky and figured out how to adjust it on my own.
I would like to know how you spin that knurled wheel on the powder measure. Mine is stiff as a new shirt collar on both my measures. No way can I spin mine as quick as you do0 yours. I need both hands workin on it at the same time.

its an awesome press, yeah theres better if you have the money which kinda negates the reason i reload

wow im not sure tbh, i havent reloaded now in years... need to get it back on the bench
What causes the shell plate to tighten itself so the rotation stops?
I think there is a bearing and notch in plate... not sure really as my press hasnt been on the bench in years now

I'm Changing mine from 223 to 9mm and the timing is off take 2 pulls to rotate the plate what am i doing wrong?
