Jamie, I'm so proud our letter got there. I've been waiting on this video. It's been a privilege watching you and Sherpa all these years, and we are humbled to be a part of it. Ace's death was so very hard. And to pile on cancer and the death of my sister, as well, felt insurmountable. But you and your beautiful boy, in no small part, were the anchors we needed to heal. Thank you everyone. We are in a much better place now, and can't be more thankful for figures like Jamie and Sherpa, that have helped us get here. There is something so wonderful about being able to heal, and to turn those tears to smiles.

We are better now. I'm grateful for all the time we got to spend with him. And, likewise, grateful for Jamie, Sherpa, Key, Nook, Jodie, Biscuit Lady, all of them have helped us so, so much. They've gotten us through some of the toughest times of our lives, and we could not be more privileged to be a part of theirs.

Wonderful to see how everything worked out with your search for a new home. Being able to buy such a beautiful home with a massive garden makes all that you went through seem well worth the effort. All the worrying doesn't seem that bad now.

So sorry for Andrew and Yuki. Such a heartbreaking loss of Ace. I am a klutz due to having had a stroke many years ago. I drop so many things on the floor, medicine being one of those things.
I will keep you in my heart and prayers and Ace will be forever cherished in our memories. ❤

We are in a better place, now. Both just thankful that he was in our lives, at all. And although it ended bitterly, we couldn't be more privileged to have come so far, since. Sherpa and Jamie have a lot to do with that healing.

Sherpa isn't sleeping all the time because he is old, he sleeps because he is content and feels safe. My Goldens which are 6 and 5 1/2 do the same thing all day whenever I'm just sitting in my chair.

Hi Jamie and Sherpa - I love watching all your videos. Just a word to the wise - if you are getting an awning make sure it is waterproof. I have one which I bought for the same reason - but it is not waterproof - so I still can't sit out when it's raining. Love from Barbara

Hi Jamie. I know you get lots and lots of suggestions on how to care for Sherpa, and you ultimately know best. You’re concerned with him slipping on the hardwood floors, and I couldn’t help noticing how furry his paw pads were. Groomers typically shave out paw pads in order to give dogs, especially older dogs more traction on flooring, as well as making sure their claws are the appropriate length to help their gait. This helps for all seasons, as it also keeps ice from caking in the fur between the paw pads, improving their traction in ice during walks in the winter. I’m sorry if it’s one more unwanted idea, but I didn’t know if you knew of this service or not. Love you guys so much!!❤❤❤❤

Jaime a nice pergola in the garden is also an idea. It can be open with waterproof panels that when extended will provide cover from rain or sun and Sherpa can still lie in the grass and be protected from rain or hot sun.… kind of like what you have in your sun room. 🥰🐕💕❤️👍👍
