2002 Crownline 225 BR Rebuild

I am not a videographer. These are a collection of pictures for boat rebuild.
Something about that boat spoke to me, so I(we) pulled the trigger. And I’ve spent the last 5 months of my life rebuilding it.
I watched every UA-cam video I could find about refurbishing a boat, the most important lesson I came away with…
Photograph every square inch before you start and as you disassemble. When you think you’ve taken enough pictures… go back and take more from different angles. This is your roadmap to put it back together. Trust me, you WILL need those pictures.
2023: June - November
(5) New tires
Entire trailer brake system was replaced. EVERY SINGLE PIECE OF IT!
Replace trailer brake lights.
Annual Service
Throttle, throttle & trim cables replaced.
Glove compartment/cooler rebuilt.
VHF/Antenna installed.
Outdrive, replaced all seals.
New blower and hose
Leaking gear lube house and rusted trim pucks, replaced. Gears lubed.
Replaced outdrive bellows.
Drained fuel tank and cleaned.
(2) New Marine batteries
Replaced Marine charging system and added aft plug-in.
Replace Bimini Top, larger, and frame with Stainless Steel.
Motor oil
Oil filer
Fuel filter
Water separator
Buddy bearings
Impeller
Gear oil
And finally, we get to the aesthetics. The interior was re-designed, re-built, re-upholstered and re-carpeted. (For those that are Crownline purists, I kind of like the old Miami Vice vibe.)
To say, ”I over built the neighborhood”, would be a GROSS understatement. Welcome to BOATING!
