Great presentation and research! I had an idea concerning the collection vehicle, though I doubt it would be feasible: would it be practical for the aerostatic atmo-collector to implement a way to push the gases upwards by redirecting the wind? The vehicle could be operating at slightly lower speed and with a specifically constructed "scooper" could push the gasses upwards in a vortex with the Delta-V necesary to reach a safer altitude for the collector craft. Or the atmo-collector could ocasionally lower its speed with some propulsion. Doesn't seem feasible, since I assume you'll need the atmo-collector to be on a stable enough relative site for the craft to dock. And anyway, pushing gas into space would mean significant losses due to entropy alone.

Just as a detail, in most of my work, the aerostats are not used. The Aerospacecraft gathers the deuterium and helium 3 from the captured and processed hydrogen - helium atmosphere. This option eliminates one type of vehicle and reduces the overall systen complexity. Good luck with your upcoming publications.
