Great update for Sheets. I use a Google Form in a website to collect data, and wonder if the reason for not excluding invalid data, is that it might cause problems when people try to submit the form?
Maybe... although your form can be set to accept specific types of responses so shouldn't have invalid data? Also I think when the responses are opened in a Sheet, the table doesn't have set column types to begin with, so it wouldn't know whether the data downloaded is invalid. But I think I've probably misunderstood what you mean... 😂
@@SharonsTutorials There are probably a lot of people using Forms who don't realise that you can use response validation (and I have to relearn how to do it each time!).

Hi! I am trying to upload my files into the cell using the 'smart chip' option, however, it is only letting me choose between a limited number of documents in my drive. I have tried changing the format of the other documents but still no luck. Do you know anything about uploading files into the cell?
I think it only shows a certain number of files in the list so you just need to start typing the file name or keyword (after you type @ and click on Files) for the list to update & hopefully it'll contain the right file for you to click on - hope that helps?
@SharonsTutorials, I was wondering if you could help me. Unfortunately, when I choose the 'Date' or 'Currency' option, it sets to American formatting (m/d/yyyy and $)... Do you know how I can change it to UK formatting (dd/mm/yyyy and £)? I have tried changing the date formatting via format tab > date > custom date but the placeholder do not change and when I choose 'Date and Time' this format does not work. Please let me know if you can help, I would really appreciate it!
Try going into File then Settings and make sure the Locale section is set correctly e.g. UK - this should then set all of your currency & date formatting to UK. Let me know if that still doesn't work & I'll have a play around :)
If you're converting existing data then you can have as many tables as you like in the one sheet. But if you're using one of the pre-built templates, then it will automatically insert the table in a new sheet each time. Hope that helps :)
Great presentation! I am an IOS user and don’t use a mouse. It would be helpful if the presentation included options available to IOS users like me. Thank you
Thanks for your suggestion :) However, none of my tutorials cover anything on iOS as I like to be able to physically show step-by-step what I'm doing and I'm not an Apple user, sorry!

@SharonsTutorials may I ask what software you use to record your videos? I love the camera bubble. :)
I use ScreenPal - it's one I've been using for years as it's so user-friendly and simple :)

I really like this tool, but can you only do One table per sheet using this method?

@SharonsTutorials Thank you, I figured out a work around to put multiple into one sheet without existing data
@@cooltimetravel4959 oooh sounds intriguing, if you feel like sharing then please do... 😊
@@cooltimetravel4959 Can you please share how? Thank you in advance !
Great, but not supported yet within iOS, which is very unfortunate.
Not sure when that's happening...
