I like Forester or any Subaru if I'm in US or Canada but not in Philippines. You will sure lose in price, capacity, efficiency, maintenance, aftermarket, resale, and everything. Buy a Monterosport instead or Everest, Terra, Fortuner, MUX, 1.5L 7seater Diesel CRV, CX5, Sorento, SantaFe, & a BMW 2 Gran Tourer 😁
Drove this last week from Lake Tahoe to Sacramento (and back) and it's so much fun to drive. It'll definitely outrun lots of vehicles in freeway. However, pitted against the established diesel PPV's in the Philippines highways, where you need all that torque when passing 2 or 3 convoys of big rig rice trailers in a twisty uphill provincial roads or even the stop and go traffic in any urban area, I would think twice, not to mention the astronomical price. The second hand market of the previous years is super tempting though from the value proposition.
@@thetrustysidekick3013 and why is that rationale only applicable to the Philippines? Do people sell their cars in other countries if they still want it?
@@thetrustysidekick3013 sounded pretty clear to me this statement "never buy 2nd hand cars in the Philippines. My rationale behind that is... blah blah blah." Why put Philippines in there if it is not only applicable to that country? 😂
The Forester should've been one of the most anticipated crossovers, if only the price isn't that high for a non-turbo, slightly slouchy vehicle. Adding a couple of bucks and voila, welcome home CX-5 Skyactiv-D. But for what it is, the Forester is still a tempting proposition for those who want something that most people wouldn't really opt for. P.S. Too much attention to detail, me likey ❤️
at 2.068M it really is difficult to consider the Forester against the 7-seater SUVs. Monty GT 4x2, Terra VL 4x2, Everest Titanium 4x2 and others are all cheaper than this Forester. And if you don’t want diesel and just a crossover then better take the CX5 AWD and again, cheaper + 5yrs free pms! This Forester is just lost in the market due to its price. Very capable but not that special for its price. And it got too much chrome!!!
Subaru has a world renowned all wheel drive. And the Forester is probably the safest crossover in the market. That's what you pay for when you buy it. And btw, if pricing is your concern, eyesight and AWD is available even in lower trims which no car company can match. Even if you buy the lower priced Subaru, you still get the safety features plus AWD.
@@victorsarmiento9146 That lower variant is still priced at 1.938M. And engine is a little underpowered. I know that eyesight and AWD are great plus to have but still if they price it lower then they could compete for a share in the pie.
Hello po ask Lang po ako kung pag pinalitan ko brake pads ko (2019 toyota hiace) ng after market parts like bendix, is it possible na ma void ang warranty ko.

Never buy second hand in the Philippines.
My rationale behind that is: "If the owner didn't want it anymore, why would you?"

@@cly7123 Did I say it was only applicable in the Philippines? What a weird thing to focus on.

does it have automatic emergency braking system?
If you don't mind you added timestamp.
You can devide every part of full video.its very informative
Thank you for the suggestion. :)
I hope you can also review Subaru Forester's Mazda counterpart, the CX-5
how much does it costs to maintain this car?
Same term po ba ang all wheel drive sa 4x4?
Ang 4x4 po, pwedeng maging 4x2 compared to AWD na 4x4 po palagi.
AWD always active, while 4WD is part time. The advantage of 4WD is that it has low range for more torque, and rear differential lock.
AWD is more common in crossover SUV like the Forester, while the 4WD is more used in body on frame SUVs like Fortuner.
Hmmm similar look at the all new subaru ascent its a 8 seater
How much the prize of SUV SUBARU
2.2m?
12.4 fuel economy sa city driving o sa highway?

My god are you nuts? 12liters/100km?? I drove mine for 2 years, the avg was always 8-9l/100km? What the fuck did you do with your forester?
I know understand why Japan cars are undersized :)
I spent more than the amount of my forester SH for the mods 🤣
Wow! Seems like someone had fun modding!
Magkano ito po
