Sounds amazing!! How much was everything all together the bike plus exhaust and installation? I need to know the ball park figure. So I can get mines.
Basically add $1500-$2100 for the installation of the exhaust to the online build price and your local tax. Should get you real close.

The thing (I think wd40 which is also suggested in Akra's manual) they wipe it with when they put it on with, is to remove the oil from their fingers while installing it. If they leave it it burns off on it and makes the nice colours from the heat... Not so smooth. You probably will wipe the exhaust to clean and protect with wd40, that's what I do and works perfectly.
The other thing is the upmap helps regulate how it runs (it runs richer in petrol if they don't proram it properly). The little fumes that come out never stop, remember you don't have a cat anymore lol. Interesting it says "Racing Pro", mine says just "Racing" with the other Akra :o
It's a beautiful bike, whenever I walk into the garage I just stare at it and everything feels better.

@@Ducati_Grandpa I'm assuming they don't use the same program? Who knows. Another funny thing is that titanium cools down faster. Quite faster! Which means you can get a cold start after a 15 min coffee + smoke break :D

There should be a way to put the wire mesh on the end can without the db killers, they look awesome and protect the exhaust.
I wish there was…it does have such a cleaner look but love the sound without them. 🥴

Thank you, Thank you, I wanted to see how the DB killer went in because Im trying to decide if Im gonna get this bike to track...and some of the tracks near me are strict. No other channel shows the db killer for this specific exhaust!!

That's awesome man. Just before I commit to spending an extra small mortgage (😅) how did it affect the overall smoothness of the bike? I'm switching from an older pani and particularly after that smooth ride I felt with the stock one..

The insert are not db-killer but it’s a part of the exhaust it self and it’s mate to be used only with that mesh insert. Check the manual insert that say that in detail.
The engine map is done with that insert so must stay on. For those want real Db-killer are available on the catalog and sold apart .
They were not installed by the dealer…you can see in my video when I picked it up from the dealer after the exhaust was installed. I just assumed they were the db killers since they look identical to the ones on their website. If you configure the Panigale V4S and go the the accessory list, they have a photo that looks the same. 🤷🏻♂️

Thank you for taking the time to post this video. I have a '23 on order and I have this exhaust on order as well. Hoping to get them both soon. I had a question which you started to go into a little, the mapping for the ECU after installing the exhaust. Did they use an UpMap t800 to do the remapping? and if so, how has it been so far? any issues? Idling....going through the gears....any cutoff issues? The dealer I am having install the exhaust recommended the UpMap, so I am doing homework, since I have the time waiting. Thanks again.....off topic, that view from your driveway is awesome, very peaceful 👍

I wasn’t told the UpMap used, so sorry I don’t have that information. The UpMap just “comes with” the purchase of the exhaust from the dealer…I was told that’s why the exhaust is so expensive.
Congratulations on the purchase, hopefully it’s a quick arrival for you…my bike only took 3 weeks to arrive (ordered March 8th) but the exhaust took over 5 months!!

@@Ducati_Grandpa Thank you for your reply. In watching your video, from what is displaying on your screen, it looks like you have the UpMap remapping which states "Racing Pro". In any case, have you had any issues with idling? going through the gears?, bike shutting off on it's own? just curious on the overall running experience before they install it. I agree with you on the look of the Akra....I have a 1299 with that exhaust on my desktop wallpaper right now :)
@@fffogg Yes, prior to the exhaust and the UpMap being installed, it said Racing Evo on start up… I haven’t had any issues before or after with idling, shifting, etc…

Dope. I have a 23 v4s also. I got all carbon accessories but could not do the full akra system due to californias Strict noise laws ☠️😮💨 will prolly go out of state to get the full system instslled. Idk if i want akra or termi yet tho 🤣😍🥰

No…once she saw how I ride, she didn’t want to get on lol
However, what I was thinking was to have a couple “L” brackets made that would flip the two that mount to the foot pegs, putting the vertical side on the inside instead of outside of foot peg area….

@@maninoroozi3456 that was also my biggest concern was the heat from that exhaust because as you know the heat went from inner thighs to butt lol

What a badass exhaust and with my bose headphones it sounds mean and angry. Are those the standard DB killers or did you purchased them? would it be possible to download a DB measure app and check the DB levels with idle and 6000rpm from 1.5mtr distance please.

I’m not sure if they’re different because there aren’t many ways they could be. I’m assuming they’re selling them separately because it’s a part that could wear out and need replaced. 🤷🏻♂️

Is the net thing in the back easy to remove? What does it do anyways is it just for looks? It looks bad in my oppinion i still didnt install my exhaust i bought it and im waiting to break in my engine at 1000 KM so i can install the exhaust. I didnt know that i cant use passenger pegs wuth the exhaust installed which sucks i take out my wife with me sometimes and i wont be able to anymore

4:50 I’d like to know more about what solvent the tech used to treat the titanium exhaust before he heat-cycled it.
I have a v2 with stock exhaust and it broke in very “patchy” which takes away from the look of the thing.
I might see him this weekend, if he’s at their Ducs & Donuts. If so, I’ll ask him. 👍

I didn’t go to the previous Ducs & Donuts due to weather. However, I went today and talked to him…he said he uses WD-40 and scotch pads. He said to run the scotch pads back and forth “lengthwise” only. That will help it color smoothly. 👍

I actually thought it gets a little hotter. However, instead of the inner thighs it’s the back of legs and seat. At least it’ll be like a heated seat in colder weather…🤷🏻♂️😂

Did you purchase that exhaust from the Ducati dealership from where you got your bike?
Yes, I ordered it on March 8th when I ordered the bike. The bike showed up about 3 weeks later but the exhaust didn’t show up until August 12th. It was SO worth the wait!

When the bike is in neutral, doesn't the bike only run on 2 cylinders for heat? So I think it'll sound very different once you go into gear.
It only does that with the stock exhaust. Now it’s full time beast sound! lol

I said earplugs but I corrected it with headphones, I thought. 🤦🏻♂️ lol
I mainly wear the earplugs for the wind noise but it allows you to hear the helmet speakers better too.

why? omg why is every single V4 owner reving their bike in 2 cylinder mode??? omg why! it's such a waste. rev it in first gear so all 4 cylinders are fired up instead of just the 2. it makes a huge difference. no one should be reving the Panigale V4 in Neutral., always in 1st gear and hold the clutch.
Actually, rpms also take it out of 2 cylinder mode.
