Wenn "Ladedruck Grenze überschritten" steht, hast du ein Läck in den Unterdruck-Schläuchen, die den Ladedruck regulieren.
Das Steuergerät will Boots produzieren, es kommt aber beim Sensor nicht soviel an wie gewünscht, also gibt das Auto noch mehr Boost um die Werte zu erreichen.
Ich hatte dasselbe Problem; hiess bei mir, Motor Raus und alle Schläuche inkl. Turbolader Check.
Ein Schlauch war beim Turbolader undicht und oben beim "T" Stück.
Hoffe es hilft :D

@@schaefchen He's right, the most fun drifting the B5 i had on wide mountain passes at high speeds and wet conditions. for dry you need a different geometry, since you can't put it sideways enough so it stays there with power. Knowing how it feels i was kinda scared when you wipped it up your tiny, falling off home track. Mine wouild simply have slidden off there^^ So, good work on the car i guess

You should go into different things like fast diesels.. buy a 535d, weld the diff, do downpipe, intakes and tune maybe a hybrid lp turbo. Drifting with 450hp diesel sould feel incredible
but no rpm and the sound isn't so good
Audis v6 3.0 tdi straight pipe is a good sounding Diesel

Genauso handelt ma an Quattro im Winter 👌 Kleiner Tipp wennst dein RS4 a bissl beibringen willst dass er mitn Hintern mitlenkt in da Kurve: hol dir des Stabilisatorkit von H&R (die Ausführung mit 21mm Durchmesser hinten) und stell erm die Spur hinten auf Neutral ein, sprich 0° Vorspur, 0° Nachspur.. Des verwandelt des Handling vom RS4 gewaltig 😋

And I said it before, I‘m a BMW guy through and through but the Audi RS4 B5 Avant is in my eyes the most beautiful looking Audi RS4 Avant ever produced ❤

@ Of course I never ever drifted in my life 🥴🤪 But theoretically speaking I can remember the days when „a friend of mine“ who looked almost like me had a Mitsubishi Pajero V20 5-door (the car was a 1994 model and this happened 1996/1997) and when you did want to go sideways while in 4WD you really had to push the car to get the momentum going but then it was epic fun to go sideways in such a huge, tall and heavy car.
Of course if you chose to be in 2WD it was a completely different ballgame but „my friend“ was quite often after such sessions very exhausted cause the car was literally huge and quite often there was not much space left 😂
Good old days, where we sadly didn’t have iPhone‘s with great cameras or even camcorders to record the stupid stuff we did…

You should look into fitting a b7 rs4 rear diff into this, people have done it and it can send up to 70% of power to the rear wheels instead of the traditional 50
He could just do washer mod and have same result.
Not rear diff but whole rs4 b7 gearbox and it has 40/60 base split

The rs4 can do 4:1 torque split from the factory

If you didnt fix the issue yet try replacing the N75 valve the rs4 has, it is notorious for it to give problems, sometimes it throws error codes but not always if it doesnt completely fail. It regulates the boost level and it can give you boost problems like you are facing. Had pretty much same problems on my 1.8t as it wouldnt always boost fully and just die down and come back, all i replaced was the n75 valve and the issue was fixed. Just make sure you get the correct n75 as there are different variants

B7 RS4 with that high revving 4.2l V8 & the last of the true manual & analog cars! Amazing sounds, and it’s just such an improvement over the B5 Minus getting an N/A motor! But there are a few Gentleman over in Europe with Big turbo built versions that are just perfect and how it should’ve been factory!

I have a regular a6 c6, you can just increase rear tire pressure and it will slide like a rally car😂
I put mine on 2.8rear 2.4 front, and i just have to give it power, the back goes out very fast.

Great, nice car, i've had a poster of this car in my kid room. Maybe it should be a bit higher and a bit softer on suspension so it can lean a bit and you can do some weight shifting.

i've just bought a A4 B5 TQS, basically a super reliabel rs4, drifts super good in the snow
Would look into upgrading rear swaybar, endlinks and installing rear subframe reinforcement kit to further eliminate any understeer. Easy install with off the shelf parts.
During my school time in Engadin Switzerland there were soo many RS4 B5 driving in the snow..;) nice to see one drift around like that today.

Love the B5 content! I had a far more plebeian B5 A4 1.8T Quattro sport and even that was a riot in the snow (especially with summer tyres haha)

18:38 Your power steering fluid is over heating this happens with a lot of steering like you do with drifting and it will destroy pumps/racks.
To fix this u need a good power steering cooler (not the stock 2 lines bc those suck with cooling)
