- In this video I am showing how to make an arch top door. I make all my woodworking projects from furniture to doors and sash windows in hardwood. In my workshop I use a combination of traditional craft skills and modern woodworking tools and machinery.

A true divided lite arched top door in a jamb! Has to be one of the most difficult doors to build. Watching this video was total enjoyment to me cause this is exactly the way I build mine as well. I have been building doors and shutters for 30 years and you are a true craftsman. Thanks for the video!

Hi thank you for your kind comment. I used Sapele for this door. It’s a very dense hardwood that will last a life time.

How do you attach the glass?
I use a glazing tape, which is a double sided self adhesive tape made for fitting glass.
