I just realized that the Caleb Dune comic story was the first hint that the effects of Order 66 wasn’t a permanent effect on them, as Captain Grey later comes back to his senses and saves Caleb.
I shame they retconed it, I personally don’t consider that opening scene of the bad batch cannon in my head cannon, since I liked the kanan comic version a lot more

I agree. I also want a recannon Kanan animated series. Showing his adventures with Billaba and Grey through the Clone Wars, like Mygeeto and such, and his fights against the Galactic Empire. And how he met Hera and Zeb.

Dave Filoni back in 2014: Disney Canon won't be like the expanded universe, it will be consistent, authors will respect each other, every story will be same tier canon and everyone will be working on to tell the same big story.

Well... I'm gonna assume this: Every Star Wars story takes place from a different audience and story teller so some stories are different from others as the story tellers have different story sources so that's just my guess.

(I like how I’m annoyed by 1 contradiction but in George lucas’ expanded universe there were so many contradictions and retcons from the clone Wars tv shows, and Palpatine coming back many times, but if I’m being honest the clone wars shows were a middle finger to the prequels so I’m cool with it)

It’s weird how in the bad batch they changed his armour from red to green
I like to believe either Gray just has two sets or Gray just lost his armour for a bit found some other random captain's armour and wore that until he found his own armour.
So would the 3rd battle of mygeeto would be cannon since kanan referenced it in rebels
