- From the 'Static Age' album. I have played the 2 guitar tracks in different positions, panned left & right to get more dynamics in the mix, so what you see on the video is what you get: same chords but on the left channel I've played them from the 5th fret and up (more 'edgy' sound) and on the right up to the 5th fret (deeper sound).

there is (i think depending on who is covering i suppose) but in this he is showing two different ways of playing it. For me i find the right side a little easier on the fingers.

Thanks! It's common practice when recording in the studio, that the guitars are overdubbed, even when it's a one-guitar band. Makes the sound fuller.

Your misfits covers are awesome. Could you do astro zombies? I just looked through about 30 youtube covers of it and all of them play the first two chords wrong. On the album and live he plays it keeping his third finger on the same note the first two power chords.

Congratulations, Woody. The original track has a slightly out-of-tune bass that makes it very distinctive but also a bit sloppy. With an ideal, perfectly tuned bass, you improved the original studio version - now it's sharper and much more powerful.
