Really great crime film. I was in the mood to watch a movie a few months ago & the film that stood out that I had in my collection that I hadn't seen was Heat. Despite it been 3 hours long, I was locked in and mesmerized by how good it really was and how it lived up to the hype. Even before the two iconic scenes in the diner scene & bank robbery shootout, it was really engaging seeing these characters go through the struggles in their lives & planning things for this final heist that as we all know goes wrong. De Niro & Pacino are really great and no doubt the standouts, however the entire cast deserves credit. Mann was in serious top form. Something I remember is that apparently this is a remake of an earlier script Mann worked on in the 80s that became a TV movie in 1987. Really awesome seeing get a second chance to make it work. I'm having a tough time deciding which film I prefer more, Heat or Collateral, however they're both amazing crime films. You could tell by watching this how it inspired Christopher Nolan in films like Insomnia, The Dark Knight & Inception. Glad I now have Heat on Blu Ray.
Me too
I Love This Film Michael Man's Master Piece
It's excellent
Oh And The Intro The Dark Knight Reminds Me A Lot Of This Film
I can see that
My fave film
It's excellent
Also there is a sequel written by Mann in book form shame we never see a film version
I think it is starring Adam Driver
I love this movie. But Al Pacino portraying a cop is just too damn weird for me. He’s too recognisable playing characters on the other side of the law, to be playing a cop. Terrific movie though. And Al Pacino is a legend.
The movie is fantastic
The best action films of the 90s are con air and the rock both from Michael bay do you like those.
Con Air was directed by Simon West
Con Air was not directed by Bay, but I do like Con Air. The Rock never hit with me
The rock is a masterpiece you love that film and both are from Michael bay as they both have their tropes.
You are a fan of the 1996 film the rock right after all it’s considered Michael bay’s best film would you give it 4 or 4 and a half blu rays that is the ratu g you will give that it’s even better than bad boys or con air, Armageddon or the island and transformers.
Why do you keep asking me the same questions about Michael Bay on every new review I post? Please try to talk about the movie I am reviewing. I have answered your Michael Bay questions multiple times and it’s rude to keep posting them.
I didn’t ask you about every movie he has made and also you didn’t tell me which films of his you like or you have seen.
@carsonpeterson758 yes I have told you multiple times
I didn’t ask if you have seen pain and gain or 13 hours have I and have you seen those?
