I was using a Zoom H2N audio recorder in my rucksack. (I post-edited the audio, the pre-edited audio was increased a few dB). The bike has "Enfield Precision" brand silencers (with the baffles IN) and a DNA air-filter fitted. Its quieter than those plastic fantastic 4-cylinder sports bikes. You can't judge the idea of purchasing a bike based on someone riding one with aftermarket silencers, that's silly. Geez that think is noisy. Definitely would put me off buying one. I don't think I could put up with that on my long tours through Europe.
