- There are many situations where a single line is required to carry two or more digital signals and of course at a time one signal can be placed on one line but what is required is a device that will allow you to select the signal which took place on a common line such a circuit is referred to as multiplexer it is a combinational circuit which accept many input and select one as an output.
the multiplexer is a device that multiple inputs and single line output the selection line determine which input is selected as output the number of selection line is depend on type of multiplexer for example if we have 4 x1 multiplexer then there will be two selection line since the 4 is expressed by 2 power 2 multiplexer also called data selector.There are so many places where we use multiplexer like computer network computer memory telephone network etc

Mam aapne Demux ka circuit sahi nahi banaya hai isme aapne Y1 ke input me galti Kari hai . Aapne Y1 ka input 00 liya hai .00 ki jagah 01 input aana chahiye so pls check the video and edit it . 👍💯

I think there is a mistake in demultiplexer .. in y1 of demultiplexer C1 is attached to not gate and its value is 1
